I am inclined to agree. Teams who were a lot better than us have gone down and struggled. Just look at Luton, their team of last season would destroy our lot. We are moving into unexplored waters here when we go down. I don't think we can assume a couple of months of summer holidays is going to resolve the problems.

Agreed. But unfortunately I think most of them are just broken beyond belief. They can't raise themselves anymore. There is no pride left, just total lostness. No other team has played this badly at this level and likely never will. It is highly probable we'll get no more points and only a handful of goals between now and May. The manager might even get the boot by the end of the season. They are in the worst team in Premier League history and there isn't even a glimmer of hope to hold onto. No amount of money will help that. So to a certain extent I can understand them.

I really can't believe how poor we are the back. Nobody marking anyone. Letting them run through unchallenged. Juric has made us a better passing team but defensively it's exactly the same. Needs to change the formation and approach. This will be 5 or possibly more by full time.

I agree with you. Despite the high emotions of tonight both were solid players at Championship level. We always knew the Prem was going to be a step too far for them. Was obvious to everyone except Russel and the rest of the leadership at the club.

Utd clearly under estimated us in the first half and probably thought it'd be an easy game. They won't make the same mistake second half. But it has been great to watch us play some proper football for a change.
