Yet he needs exposure to get up to speed. To learn. So it's a balance I guess.
-
Lacking match fitness probably and maybe head partly elsewhere.
-
Seems off the pace.
-
Gave the ball away and ourselves under pressure. But even then, the reaction was terrible. Nobody able to even block the shot. Thankfully it was right at Baz.
-
Get in. Jack Stephens is the best!
-
Hangover from last year maybe. Players confidence still destroyed.
-
Fair 😇

If ever there was a comment to come back and haunt! However I sure hope you are right.
-
Yep for all his limitations last year, still knows how to smash a pen in.
-
Opened up a huge gap for the scorer to shoot through. Odd positioning.
-
I see we're treating it like a training match rather then building momentum for next week. Mostly players flopping about.

Saints 1-2 Arsenal - Thank F**k it’s All Over Thread

To be fair, Smallbone was never Premier League quality. He did a decent job last year but should have been sold in the summer. He could probably do a decent job again next year. But I suspect his confidence is totally destroyed and a move away is probably best.- 589 replies

It was never in doubt really. We love to break a record! -

Great header. Lovely goal. -
And Bereton-Diaz. Who was so poor we all forgot he existed

Pure ridiculousness that the teams finishing 4th and 5th bottom of the league end up playing each other in a major European final. On another year they might have been battling relegation or even been relegated. Match about as awful as expected but credit to Spurs. They did what they had to do. Ange delivered on his promise. Quite quite crazy.

Still dealing with last week's euphoria of only being the second worst team in Premier League history. I mean, what else is there to play for?
-
They couldn't ask for an easier game really. Having now beaten the Derby record to proudly become the second worst team in Premier League history I fully expect our players to down tools and be focusing on their holidays/next clubs.
-
It doesn't bode well for future recruitment. Yet another, very recent mistake.
-
Where has that performance been all season.
-
I can't believe it. Amazing determined performance by the lads and well deserved.
-
Held on well for 88 mins. But it's inevitable. Now would be a great time for a break away goal..
-
Way sooner than that. I reckon 65 minutes. They need time to get a few more goals after.
-
City going to get 3-4 in the second half. They've not got started and have made it easy for us so far. Possibly they expected it to be easier.
-
Has he ever been? I mean apart from the Liverpool game 2 years ago.
