Nah, much more fun going postal on people
-
That's alright, Ticketmaster charge you (near) £6 handling fee per *TICKET* (not transaction) and then another (near) £7 to post the tickets to you.....
-
I'll believe you, millions (and ma-illions of the Rock's fans) wouldn't....
-
No it's not, they do it all the time!
-
You should quit the cigarettes, not good for your long term health......
-
Ach, his wages are off of our books now and don't we get a loan arrangement fee too...another stealth Cortese tax ;)
-
http://www.qpr.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~2438688,00.html I think she has finished her aria and is quaffing champagne....
-
Wrong! I'm not going to waste any more bandwidth on the subject believe what you want to belive if it helps you get through your life.
-
@Jordansibley Despite reports stating otherwise, Jason Puncheon has joined QPR on loan until 2nd January - subject to PL approval. #saintsfc Just now
-
Me neither. Just trying to point out the shades of grey in between the black and white that Turkish wants to avoid for some reason.
-
The papers may not but the Agent's certainly do to try and spark interest in their players. Look at Joey Barton, "wanted" by a host of top clubs according to his agent, and he ends up at Loftus Road!
-
Maybe Cork and Fox did talk to him and he said he'd maybe consider it, so they fed that back to NA. Then Rodriguez went all girly and decided he didn't want to leave his confort zone. And no I don't think the club had spoken to his agent, they appear to want to do things the proper way. Evidence the NA move to here from S****horpe....
-
****** Gorkks deal was cancelled because WE had indentified other targets and we didn't want Gorkks, not Gorkks fault. Sharp deal was cancelled (apparently) because NA didn't like him or his demands couldn't be realistically met (all via the grapevine, we have no real way of knowing why on this one), or maybe he didn't really want to come down here so made it as difficult as possible after HIS club had accepted our bid. Fontaine's was cancelled because the extent of his ankle inujury was worse than expected and the club didn't want to take a risk on it. Where is that the club's or player's fault. Rodriguez - I've already tried to explain to you.
-
My point being that Arsenal had a chance to talk to him and they swayed him, Saints on the other hand didn't get a chance to talk to Rodriguez, they didn't get a chance to sell the club in other ways! Rodriguez had already made his mind up that he didn't want to leave Burnley, he didn't want Burnley to accept any bids for him (all via rumour). You really do read what you want to read don't you.
-
And Arteta didn't want to join Arsenal initially yesterday, in fact the deal was declared dead at one point!! In fact didn't someone here quote him as saying "they wouldn't meet my wage demands"!! So maybe the club thought they could sell themselves in other ways.
-
And how the **** do you know that QPR didn't want us to continue paying his wages or something like that..... And QPR have had just as long to get the deal sorted out, *THEY* didn't have to leave it to the last minute.
-
Good god man, your worse than a lawyer asking leading questions that you know the answer to already. Have you ever worked? What did you do when you wanted a new job? What happened when they wouldn't meet your wage/benefits demands? Did you try and negotiate? And when they said "we can't give you what you want" what did you do?
-
Veron, Taibi, Schevchenko, Torres, Smith to start you off......
-
Maybe we do have an idea, but that's why you get a player in so you can negotiate with them. Did he, when? With the Elliot "transfer"?
-
And it makes me laugh that after the recent history we have fans that want us to go straight back into that mire again. And FWIW for every big money signing that does work, there are 10 that don't IMO..
-
Maybe it's because we won't be shafted by the players/agents, Player wants £30k a eek, "sorry that breaks our wage struture, we'll give you £20k tops", "I'm out" We've had bids for Lallana, he's not wanted to go, does that mean the clubs that he has turned down are difficult to deal with or something is going on at them. Each "transfer" on it's own merit... And by agents I presume you mean Fourth_Offical? Who are an Everton and a Tranmere fan who repeat rumours verbatim on twitter. One manager has had a go out our transfer policy (AFAIK), Colin! and he's the biggest hyprocrite out there, look at the Puncheon saga...
-
Umm, we signed him from Hearts and he was well rated by the Hearts fans. To put it into context he was at Rangers for 2 years prior to going to Hearts, and made 12 appearances, he was also loaned to Charlton during that spell making 0 appearances.
-
Because you and Turkish would have us breaking the bank getting in players that are injured, don;t want to be here, are egos, want to be billy big ****** etc. Upset the squad harmoney, disruptive influence, negative effect on the team, relegation........
-
I don't doubt that we are difficult to deal with but I also don't think (and am happy we don't) lie down, turn over, spread our butt cheeks and ask how deep they'd like to go. And yet we have managed to sign some decent players and the players that are here ahev all signed new long term contracts, except Puncheon. Maybe that says something about the type of player that we want. What would you really have is do, break the bank so that we get in a load of prima donnas or players that don't really want to be there, upset the rest of squad and **** all the hard work that has been done (building squad harmony) up the wall. Do you really want us to be in League 1 again, seriously?
-
Who knows, maybe he thought Burnley wouldn't accept any bids and didn't think it necessary to say anything until such point as they did?
