Not if you live in Dorset it's not, of course you could switch to DAB but then all you'd get is the Bompey coverage!

Roger, in reply to your hypothesis elsewhere :- I belive we were playing a high defensive line to give their pacey striker less space and time to run at our defenders. It's easier to catch pacey strikers offside if you're playing a higher line. Unfortunately on CM-S looks like he can play the offside trap magnificently. How I wish we had got him in the Transfer windows

Oh ****, I take it all back, outstanding guy and a great comedian. How he hasn't made it to the pinnacle of the comedian mountain is a mystery. Has me in stitiches everytime I hear him crack a joke... See Jaidi thread

Anyone else starting to worry about fixture pile-up ?

With Rochdales's curent form I was thinking we'd be lucky to come away from them with 1pt -

Has it been said on this thread yet?? One of the great football truisms is :- "It's better to have the points than the games in hand!!" -
I guess I could excuse your sense of humour, you do, afterall, think we wouldn't have shipped 4 goals had Jaidi been in defence against Posh ;) ;) (mass smileys to make the point that I'm joshing with you!!)
-
More than a fair trade methinks. How on Earth does being an "out and out Saints fan" excuse his failed attempts at humour. I'm an "out and out Saints fan" and a total ****, does that make me OK??
-
I think you're wrong, we were playing a high defensive line against Posh (IMHO), Jaidi is just not mobile enough to be able to play that role. If we want to sit and defend deep then he is your man, if we want to push up and squeeze the play then we need more mobile defenders Seaborne or Martin!! Concur

To be honest, can't remember, didn't really see him play a lot was it dark hair then?
-
What a player he was. Severly underused by the Saints for whatever reason. He had it all, pace, trickery, curly blond hair, flapping arms whenever he wanted to do a trick. Didn't live up to his full potential with us unfortunately.

The Cortese Tax - OFT probe into firms 'profiting from plastic'

Not knowing where you live but I'd hazard a guess that the cost of you travelling to the ground (petrol, wear and tear etc) comes close to £3 Now, as I don't have an ST and I live in Poole, getting to SMS to buy tickets is a tad more expensive. I could, if I wanted, try and plan ahead and buy tickets for the next match(es) when I'm at the current match. That way I would pay a max £3 booking fee (for the first ticket of the season) However I'm a lazy fecker and don't know what I'm doing from minute to minute let alone week to week (I think that that might also by the senility creeping in) so I have no choice really, pay the £3 per ticket basically! Is it fair, hardly! But I sort of justify it to myself by knowing that it is due, in part, to the cost of running a Contact Centre (Call Centre is so passe don't you know) and as I work for a company that runs various Contact Centres, I know that they ain't cheap. I understand totally the £2 on the day as they want to guage the crowd they'll have so they can get adequate staffing levels in and save money by doing so.. -
Isn't it? I don't believe in something so therefore you can't do it!! Exactly the same in my mind...

You and the 50million others who've got the same idea. I've just started a franchise myself for the very same purpose....

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-gloucestershire-12416671 The world's gone mad!! Can you imagine "I'm sorry Mr vegetarian, you're at my BBQ and I don't believe that just eating veggie stuff is good for you, therefore you HAVE to eat meat!!"

Fair enough, have you had your sense of humour surgically removed or was that a deliberate attempt to sound big in that you knew who Ali Daei was
-
I've just heard it from a good source, a passenger of the earlier mentioned bus driver was overheard mentioning it to his dog whilst walking said animal on the Common, that we are going to sign a Portuguesse sensation Ferrero Rocher is his name, he could really be spoiling us...

This and Olivier Bernard. Strangely though I thought Pele was an OK midfielder..
-
It's funny you should mention Ali Dia, I was looking up the answer to a World Cup related question and came upon this on Wikipedia Most goals scored, overall qualifying 35, Ali Daei ( Iran, 1994–2006). Any chance that Souness got himself confused do you think??

All ITKers should be trested as Heroes for the service they provide, they usually come out smelling of Roses The galaxy is wide and wonderous and we need minstrels such as these, hope they don't get put off by this thread and continue to riskit for a Swisskit (is that showing my age??)

He started slowly because he thought it'd be a Marathon thread....

ITK alert It's their tail And I have that on good authority from my mate, who is a friend of a drinking buddy of a bus driver who once drove his bus past SMS

Take a look at the higlights again old bean. Ball crossed from near the touchline, takes 1.5-2secs before the attacker heads it, and then that was on the edge of the 6 yard box AND he had to jump to head it. If you really think that KD could have come off of his line in time and punched it clear then you must believe in his SuperKD moniker. If he HAD come off of his line and missed it he would have slated for that, better to blame the two defenders, who let CMS and whoever get between them to get an unchallenged header in. Did you see the Chelsa v Liverpool match yesterday, who was at fault for the 'pool goal? Was it Czech's fault? And he came off of his line.....damned if you do, damned if you don't. BTW I did think he was at fault for the first, no matter how badly CMS hit the ball he just didn't seem to react until too late....

There's a difference between shielding the ball and making an active move to block someones path. And hasn't this "shielding" rule only come in in the last 5 years or so, didn't it used to be that you were shielding in a ball if you were stationary. Seeing a ball out of play, a la new style, if blatant obstruction IMHO
