True, but would YOU want to make him angry?

Statement from Nicola Cortese essential now.....
Big Bad Bob replied to modern matron's topic in The Saints
But Derry, I've seen you make this comment about every manager that we've had recently, so I don't expect it to change when we get a new manager! FWIW I can only say to you what I said to St Richmond when he said the same thing the other day. You must be vertically challenged and sit in the front row if the football played so far this season gives you neck ache! -
That was Lou Ferrigno, much better than a CGI Hulk any day... Looks a bit like Nigel Pearson on a bad hair day
-
He was against Bournemouth too. 75% oif the time ****e, 25% of the time excellent.....
-
Seriously, you must either by vertically challenged or have been going to a differnet stadium to me. Against LO and Bompey, which I saw in the flesh, we played the majority of football on the deck, and only tried the high corsses when we got near the by-line (not very often I grant you). As evinced by Fonte and Schneiderlin's passing going astray a far percentage of the time! The only players that really "hoofed" the ball were the panicing defenders and then they didn't do that, that often!!

I remember one year when Millwall were at the top of their Division at Christmas, and then ended up getting relegated.....marathon not sprint cliche comes to mind. Against Orient I thought we played as badly as we had at points during last season. The difference being last season we scored loads and won games 3-1 This season the keepers seem to be in fine form and the goals seem to be smaller!! -

I read somewhere on here that is was due to the Contractors wanting some money up front and Cortese wanting to pay when they had completed!

Plymouth rag annoyed at SFC - non-SFC photographers refused entry to SMS
Big Bad Bob replied to Pancake's topic in The Saints
Thanks for clearing that up for me Minty, is the accreditation fee payed for annually or on a performance by performance basis? And how much of a cut of the DataCO fee do the clubs get? Have the press bothered to see how much it's going to cost and whether it's cheaper than the DataCO fees. NC seems shrewd enough to have done the maths himself to make it so that it is! -

So, before this, did photgraphers have to pay to be able to take photos for matches? And is there only 1 official club photgrapher or is that the name for the team of photgraphers? -
'Free South Africa, you dumb ****' Love that film......no way anywhere near football related. For which I apologise. Best line's at the end Riggs: Hey, hey. Did you get them? The bad guys? Are they all gone? Murtaugh: Yeah. Hey, hey. They've been... de-kaffir-nated

And Romsey Road (where it goes past the OS offices) is closed for gas works. Makes my trips to SUHT a PITA...

Right, so I thought I'd 'attach' the Southampton fixtures calendar to my Google calendar. All done and hunky dory, the events show up in my google calendar BUT wait, on my gmail page the Southamtpon events don't show up in the embedded calendar, I can't even see it in the 'Edit Visible Calendars' option. Nor can I see it in my Android Google sync options. So, is it me or the owners of the Calendar that are at fault here??

Eastleigh's DoF, Dave Malone in tonight's Echo
Big Bad Bob replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
It's not so much an issue with the reporting, it's an issue with the lack of investiagtion into ANY sensationalist story (much like on here). If the Echo could have been bothered they would have found out that Eastleigh's stadium was busy on Saints' only free saturday, hence the match had to have been played on a date agreed by the clubs. They could then have downgraded the sensationalism of the story and not written it with a slant that puts Saints' in a bad light. Yes, Saints should maybe have agreed the Saturday with Eastleigh before they arrange the other fixtures but who knows... -
Come on Steve, we're favourites to win League One, we've a history of unbalanced Chairmen. Yet our current CEO is supposedly ****ing off the FL and ALL it's other Chairmen and it doesn't get one mention in the media outside of Hampshire's borders! Don't you think that guy from the Mail, for one, would be splashing it all over?
-
It's strange Bern, you defended RL to the hilt against rumours and conjecture citing the clubs success. Yet you seem quite happy to castiagte NC! FWIW I beleiev that NC is not an overly nice man to work for, but some of the **** stirring that is going on seems to be the grumblings of a few disenfranchised souls. People are saying it must be true because more than one person is saying it is so BUT all the rumours are coming from the rumour mill within SFC. We've had nothing in the media (save maybe the Echo) to coroborate such mutterings, if NC were as bad as he's made out to be don't you think it'd be all over the press. I am not painting NC as the second coming I just don't GET why people seem so hell bent on pulling him off whatever pedestal he is on!

and I hope those Living in America get to see a few matches.. See, I do know a James Brown song

No, can't say that I am, now where's the emoticon

If, indeed, he got one and isn't fishing for a reaction in typical Glasgow_Saint fashion!!

Got what he wanted then I see

Agree Barry the , people are getting fed rumours from people within SFC! There will be a rumour mill within SFC where the same rumour will get spread around, so FF hearing from A and Alan Partridge hearing from B just coroborates the rumour within SFC. IT DOESN'T NECESSARILY MAKE IT TRUE, unless we've suddenly started living in a Terry Pratchett universe and rumours take on more power the more people believe in them!! AP may have been worried about his job, he may have said as much to a confidente, this may have then spread to others that NC is going to sack AP! Personell things I take verything with a pinch of salt because it is a rumour! Player comings and goings I base on the player!
