  1. Thanks for the calendar, can't get it to synch with my Android phone tho'?? Also doesn't synch with Google calendar Synch for Outlook?? Anyone know if that is possible at all?? P.S. No B'mouth Careless Cup fixture on there either
  2. Try this, from one of the Saintslist members, I'm sure they won't mind me putting it here.. http://www.winchcombe.org/downloads/southampton.csv
  3. Maybe, then, the mods would care to merge this thread with t'other?
  4. out of 126 predictions (so far) for the Plymouth game there is only 1 person predicting a defeat. Brill
  5. I think you might find it's neither option. Apparently his agent was on Italian TV saying that they've had a few enquiries but he want's to stay at the Viola (Papa that is, not his agent!!)
  6. No you can't can you And I think most people are shouting you down because you go on and on and on and on about it like a stuck record. Very similar to the way Alpine is treated because of his ways of questioning things. You ask NC to 'wind his neck in a bit', maybe you should eat your own dogfood??
  7. But a minority might have cared enough though! Doesn't this go against your current 'defender of the downtrodden minority' incarnation??
  8. I've emailed Gordon Simpson to ask him directly, not holding my breath waiting for a response TBH
  9. Myabe not to you BUT the club arranged a Press Conference to release news of the Staplewood plans with all the lovely diagrams and blueprints and stuff. And they asked the Echo NOT to print the intricate details until AFTER the press conference! The Echo went ahead anyway and printed them the day before in an attempt to be Billy Big ******! The ban may be abit OTT but it is a harsh lesson learnt for the Echo methinks.
  10. Well there is certainly doubt in my mind. From reading the online report it is quite clear that their Senior Sports Reporter was at the match! In my mind the question remains over whether they are allowed to print Saints photos.
  11. Thanks Steve, so it seems that the Echo still has a ban on photos but not their reporters (we can agree on THAT much I think). All in response to the Echo printing the new Staplewood plans to gain a sainsationlist scoop (and before you bang on about The Solent Stu they didn't print detailed plans did they? They only mentioned that there were palns afoot for Staplewood, which as you (rightly) say we all knew about). So, could it be a case that the Echo would be better served by apologising to NC (if they haven't already) over breaking a gentlemen's agreement?
  12. But Stu, it seems like the Echo's Senior Sports Editor was at the match so it just falls to a point over lack of photos. I know that in the PL you have to get a PL license to be able to print photos from a PL match, does the same apply to the Football League? Even if an Echo photographer was banned I'm sure they could source photos from some other freelancer that was at the match, why didn't they?
  13. The same could be said of a proper league match, if you substitute the bold with 'final whistle blows' and ignore from 'becaise they.....' onwards
  14. Ever considered the fact that an Echo reporter WAS at the match, just that non of the agencies would sell their photos to them? Or no freelancers want to work for the Echo? In fact I've just read the report online and it certainly reads as if the Senior Sports Writer was there
  15. Ah but yours isn't really relevant to Football now is it? I could have used Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis but it doesn't really relate to the season ahead...
  16. Relax, it's not worth getting so tents over it
  17. I agree with you
  18. Honorificabilitudinitatibus
  19. Yeah but all them kebabs have got to have taken their toll......
  20. Does too
  21. My initial reaction was very much meh but I have come around to the idea a bit more. If he's lacking the pace he used to have he can play the role for Lambert that Heskey used to play for Owen at 'pool
  22. As long as you're not a bird, under 16 or wear replicas shirts!!
  23. I think you'll still see a bit of experimentation tomorrow against Barnet, fringe players getting a run out, seeing how they cope when the stars of the 1st XI are injured etc. Reading, I think, will be the real acid test.
  24. How about AP experimenting with the team in meaningless pre-season friendlies so he has a better idea for the season proper. After all isn't that (part of) what pre-season is for??
  25. Point of Order Prof!! Did you mean to use assesses, because if you did the sentence doesn't really scan well! Maybe possesses was on your mind?
