For the two years previous to this one, from the Paul Allen 'interest' through Dan Williams through to RL regaining control there has been one common thread in the 'rumours' and "it's going to happen on Friday" quotes on here and TSF!! Are you telling me that every time he has been let down by his 'backers' or has he been embellishing things ever so slightly to his 'backers' so much so that they pull out when the realise the full extent of what is needed? "A leopard can't change his spots" and "Crying wolf" come to mind!

I disagree, I think he wants the kudos for saving a football club, any club will do. How can you explain his interest in B'mouth last time? OK his interest might have been peeked when RL 'asked him' to sell his shares but, allegedly, he was also trying to make a lot of money from being the middle man in selling said shares, wasn't £.5M mooted at the time?? So, maybe RL could have sold his shares earlier if MJ hadn't been, allegedly, trying to make a nice commission?? I don't get the people who sit there and say 'well done he's making an effort, what have you done?'. He's 'making an effort' because he can see some serious wonga at the end of the deal and he obviously has some spare time on his hands? All IMHO of course
