To compare Forte to Sharp is crazy! Sharp scored 15 goals in 13 starts (played the 90 minutes in only 5) he has an Incomparable scoring record (Best ever for Saints) We all moaned and groaned when MLT scored 3 for England and then got dropped - we all said "he couldnt do anymore" Scoring 15 goals in 13 starts...................... could Billy have done anymore to justify a prem "Chance"

It’s a fairly typical reaction from the forum. We (Glasgow, Alpine, Barry, Turkish ect) offer an opinion and without hesitation the standard crew rock up with an alternative view point. Some of them don’t believe it, but are intent with arguing with us.

Not sure about you but I feel a bit guilty. This really isn’t a fair fight and the anti Sharp crew are now making fools of themselves. Should we go a bit easier on them?

Billy Sharp started our pre season games (scoring 6 goals in 2.5 games) + started on the bench against Man City and Wigan before his sudden and unexpected loan move to Nottingham Forest. At the time it was alleged that Billy had turned down a perm move to an unnamed club and wanted to fight for his place at SFC. His contract at the time is alleged to have doubled............... this allegedly upset Nicola a lot! He wanted to make a quick profit on Billy as he is alleged to have wanted a few marquee signing from Italy. Explains why our most prolific striker ever was over-looked and then banned from staplewood without explanation.

Right so someone that doesnt jump at the chance to take a pay cut & drop a level is a greedy, money chaser I think you've missed the point. Billy wants to play premiership football and was offered the chance. The club refused and are now insisting he drops a division and takes a pay cut. The club have banned him from staplewood (s-clarke) and trying to play nasty. No way to treat our most prolific striker EVER!
