  4. Just said that NC had dealt with the situation wrong and would be mad to get rid of AP. Basically commented on speculation rather than fact. No big deal, but NC dont like that

  6. Seriously mate - if I had a copy, you'd be more than welcome to it. Sadly I dont. I wouldnt look to make profits on anything Saints related, spesh when dealing with fellow Saints fans. Sold my spare tickets for the FA Cup final at cost price despite higher offers.....thats just the kind of dude I am.
  7. What will NC decide - IN or OUT? Regardless of your likes, dislikes, opinions for AP - the important thing is what will NC decide. In your opinion is AP IN next season or OUT For me - I think NC will set strong demands but ultimately AP will stay IN
  8. The supply and demand elasticity suggests otherwise
  9. The meeting is Friday! Always Friday!!
  10. AP's target wasnt promotion - it was the playoffs. Leeds made the palyoffs after starting on -15 and they diodnt spend £3m+
  11. I agree things have improved. All I’m doing is pointing out reason why NC may look elsewhere. Keep seeing posts like “I’ll be amazed if he’s sacked” and “OMG this cant be real” Wake up – football is a results game. If I was chairman and I outspent the whole league (almost combined) then I would be questioning the 26 league games we failed to win in. 26 games is too many for a side that splashed out so much cash. For the record I think AP should be given next year to show what he can do. Stick with him or replace him – for me they both offer equal risks. p.s If he does go then the results are presumably not the only deciding factor. Like you say things have improved on the pitch, but have the off it? We don’t know the relationship that NC and AP have – perhaps they just can’t work together? The failure to reach the playoffs maybe NC’s excuse?
  12. NICK - im not trying to argue....i'm just pointing out the facts. AP failed this year as his one objective was to reach the top 6 (he didnt do that - at any stage) - How many L1 teams (ever) have spent 3m+ and failed to get promoted? None - How many spend £3m and fail to reach the playoffs? None AP was not backed financially to win the JPT. His target was top 6 in L1
  13. I agree - he deserves a 2nd shot. Continuity is important and we played well towards the end of the season. Carry that onto next season and we will win the league.
  14. AP was most likely the best candidate at the time. He had two very bad periods of management (end part) at WHU and his period at Charlton was also shocking......he needed a 2nd chance and Saints needed experience. Ap's appointment was therefore win/win. However AP has been backed like no other manager in L1 and spent a considerable amount of money (more than everyone in L1, 90% in CCC and 50% in the prem) part of this luxuory comes objectives/targets and AP (like me) would agree that top 6 was achievable start of the season. Bottom line he failed (despite the boards backing) and he is now either given a 2nd chance (risk) or we get a new man (risk) what's the lesser of two evils - only NC and ML can decide. I for one trust there judgement.
  15. Jesus dont cry - people post hearsay and speculation on here all the time. If you want 'facts only' dont use the forum. Quit being a baby and chill the **** out.
  16. Lets not get carried away here - AP has done an OK job....NO more. If he goes we replace him and I trust the board to pick the right man. AP had an objective - that objective was achievable and with the financial backing AP must admit failure. Yes (IMO) he most likely deserves a 2nd chance, but.......... He has not had great fortune in his last few jobs - With WHU Pardew was criticized after seeing West Ham through their worst run of defeats in over 70 years. - Vilified @ Charlton for "taking the club backwards" - Saints: Backed with BIG BIG $$'s, signed many top players, won JPT, ultimately failed to make playoffs. Not great reading....... Is he irreplaceable - don't be so daft!!
  17. I went Hilton Sharks Bay last summer (june) did you stay in the new or older resort?
  18. i could kick it 100mph
  19. who told you this? please PM me your source. ta
  20. Has some management experience now, both seasons he has been successful (imo) Great job last season and a good job this year (under circumstances) A young, hungry well connected manager. What more do you need in L1?
  21. If AP left Zola would be a good replacement
