I get your original point – you are acknowledging that you’ve become content with failure! You are suggesting that we should be pleased / at ease to finish below teams like Preston, Bristol City, Charlton, Swansea, Coventry, Burnley, Sheff Weds, Doncaster, Blackpool, Norwich, Palace, Plymouth, Forest and Barnsley. All these teams listed (and a few more in the CCC) have similar constraints to us, but perform better (in the main) – I can’t accept the notion ‘we are struggling financially therefore we must accept rubbish’.

I think BD would struggle with the players we have available! We are 5 or 6 squad/team players short but no money to get anyone! More likely to lose players in Jan than improve the squad – that’s not going to tempt wee Billy!

I said the same when we scored which is worrying - surely we should expect better, particularly when @ SMS? I have become content with mediocre and it’s sad!

After last nights efforts its clear we're in a relegation fight - time for us all to except it. There is no "lets give it time" bo11ox - this team just isnt good enough!! In a few years we've fallen from the premiership to a poor CCC team

We need a minimum of 4 points from our next 2 games - anything less and i will be nervous of our chances. I notice that we have all quickly ended talks of promotion and now all seem content on survival. In a few years we have gone from the Premiership to a poor CCC team - depressing!

While I applaud the effort and champion the use of the good youngsters - I am concerned about the quality in the squad and worry that we only have a handful of good championship players rather than a team full. 1 win in 5 is poor by anyone’s standards - I hope I’m proved wrong over the next 2 weeks. Not sure Port is to blame - more just a lack of quality in the squad.
