You wont find many posts where i slate Gaston. Never called his "gashton" either Osvaldo i have been tough with, likewise mopo in someways. But not much on ramirez except a few knee jerk posts after poor games

Body language mate Did alot of studies on this few years back.
-
Think league 1 might be his level, but he did score some important goals for us in the championship too Some on here will only remember him for his open goal misses and 2 year dry spell, but i will remember the goals vs Cov and MK dons
-
Its only the same one or two that claim Ramirez is rubbish Hes always had talent
-
I think he will stay. He's started to show some potential and will hopefully repay the faith that ive shown in him Could be a great player for us, if used in the right way

Agreed Adam is Saints legend and doesnt get the recognition he deserves Stuck with us throughout the bad times too. Hence why i think he'd turn down a move to man u

I like your spirit i do and agree that some positives can be taken. At full strengh our team is hard to beat (but most teams would say the same) problem is how often are teams at full strengh? We were lucky in some respects that we were gifted kind fixtures and didnt get injuries till late november. Problem is when team is not at full strengh mopo / team seem to struggle Few injuries end of last season = no wins in last 6 Few injuries now = just 2 wins in 12 -
Ahh i see, sorry missed read your earlier reply "in the summer too" thought you meant last summer, but you mean next summer. So keep the same squad together and youll be happy? Think jan or summer we need to address the GK, LB and CB issues (cover) plus might need options to assist in the final 3rd

Ok keep the ones that we want. Think Gaston has stepped up last 2 games, maybe has a future here afterall Ive always been fairly positive on him anyway....
-
Dont think we'd be 9th without Lovren and Wanyama though?
-
Sign nobody but keep everyone? Would we take that?

Are we one of the hardest teams to beat in the league?

Losing by one goal doesnt reflect the ease. Everton for example, we had two shots on target all game. As soon as we scored Everton kicked back a gear and scored again.... They controlled the match but allowed us possesion in non threatening areas. Same as vs Spurs You could ifs, buts and maybes for every game for every club. Facts are weve lost 5 of our last 8. Only fulham and mansfield in all four divs have lost more You need to change the title to "are we one of the hardest teams to beat in the league by a few goals" as youve swung the debate from the original question -

I expect us to lose tomorrow (suggesting we are not hard to beat) that will be 6 defeats in 9 -

No but you said "are we the hardest team to beat in the league" the answer is no...... -

But weve lost 5 of 8 so no we are not hard to beat (atm) only Fulham and Mansfield have lost more in the last 8 accross all four leagues
