I know this is a massive long shot and I will probably get slated for this but I don't think Ward is the player Pards is trying to get in who is not doing well. I heard he had enquired about Reo- Coker and obviously we won't sign him but could he tempt him to come on loan for the rest of the season? Played for Pards at hammers, having a bad season at AV and has only played 8 games all season! I know this makes me sound like a total nutjob but Pardew is obviously aiming pretty high!

One of my work mates knows him from when he played down the road- I asked him to text Vince to ask what was happening and he text back saying it is a big lie!

I can't understand all the negativity on here- have any of you seen the goal he set up for Carlisle v Everton in the FA Cup- quality touch. You are the same fans that got on Crouch's back when he first came and boo'ed Fuller and Euell- I don't see why you can't give the guy a chance- he was on the books for Juventus for f****s sake- if you all know so much about what makes a great player, why aren't you all working in the game instead of just being fans! I thought Wotton alongside Hammond was one of the biggest differences between today and Tuesday-Spiderman is classy but Wotton is more suited to this league- aggressive, solid and really hard working! Looking at some of the views from today, I can't believe that some people only gave Wotton a 6!

I am suprised, I thought Gillett was going to be a key player for us this year and I thought it was really important that we kept him, but Pardew clearly doesn't seem to rate him.

If Murty is out for a while, who would be your choice at RB, assuming we don't get anyone in? Could you play Thomas, Perry, Wotton or Gillett there instead of James?

I slated James for his performance at RB on saturday, but thought he was excellent in CM tonight. I also thought Wotton had his best performance in a saints shirt! Bowyer and Carsley are both decent ex- prem players and we ran the midfield until the Murty injury. Anyone else have the same view?

The buck stops with James-he is the defender!

I thought Thomson looked alright at times, but you can't play him and James down the right-far too lightweight!

My point is as a full back you either need some pace or strength and James has neither- I would rather have had Thomas or Gillett at RB and James at RM. My position in the Northam is directly in line with the RB position and although he did improve last season, you would need all your fingers and some of your toes to count the number of goals we conceded last season from poor defending from Lloyd James!

Delldays- James was totally done for pace right in front of me- Murty isn't quick, but I am certain he wouldn't have been done like that by their winger- James is too slow and too lightweight as a right back IMHO!

The Millwall game Lloyd James was out-muscled for the goal, today he let their winger stroll past him without making a challenge- he is a liability at right back- I would rather have Thomas, Gillett or even god forbid Wotton there!

Chez- you can't have watched alot of football if Perry is one of the worst players on the ball you have ever seen!

I thought Perry looked good against Millwall, didnt play against Northampton or Swindon, so did you go to Huddersfield and was he really that bad?

I think you can add Perry and Holmes as two players that are good enough for this league- that gives us nine and only two more good players to find for a decent starting eleven!!!

In my opinion, no way is he better than Perry- gave away penalties for fun, got done by that Sheff U dude in the last minute at home- just was alot better than Lancashire, which I don't think is that difficult!
