  1. You host the worlds inaugural Motability Scooter F1 Race in the car park, collect £10,000 and hand it all over to "Son of a gunrunner"
  2. The first rule of "who do you want to go down" is "The cheating Skates" The second rule of "who do you want to go down" is "The cheating Skates".............
  3. He started the mess at Portsmouth, isn't he a bit late to do the same in Scotland? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17072133
  4. Tommy from ground force at the Dell (WHam fan) and Daley Thompson (Wimbledon RIP).
  5. A lot of dogs eat their own poop, get it looked at bud.
  6. Yes but ours was won without any financial cheating or by using the abundance of servicemen in the area because of WW2?
  7. If Harry had still been there, I feel sure he would have been offered some Sweeteners?
  8. I reckon Birmingham will win it but West Ham's dip will start with around 10 games to go, we'll then replicate our early season stride & pip theWhammers for 2nd
  9. Keep the monarchy But downscale it's wealth to the levels of the Danes, much more palatable to me.
  10. "Can someone sum up for me?" £130 Million + 2008 FA Cup = Nothing to pay
  11. "Additionally, he'd have to keep putting off the CVA payment in order to fleece the club. I can't see that going down too well with the creditors...unless AA completely rips up the CVA and says that there will be no payments. " Dont forget, while at Swindon FC, AA kept delaying (not ripping up) the CVA payments until eventually, after 8 years, it was settled. To my knowledge the football club suffered no repurcussions at all by utilising this tactic. Christ the laws in this country can be weak!!!
  12. Someone at Hearts reckoned Skacel was good.
  13. Calm down fellas, win at brum and it's down to 2 points with us then at home and the whammers away
  14. So what are all of the possible scenarios for the blue few's future? Here are the obvious ones: Option A - some madman pays Chanrai £30 odd million for a broken flush - unlikely. Option B - they limp through to their court appearance and the judge pulls the plug - more likely but remember last time. Option C - they are (unfairly) lent money to limp on until the end of the season by the football authorities - wouldn't surprise me? Option D - AA fails to find the madman and pulls the plug and liquidates - hard to believe that Chanrai would want this but it may end up the only option? So what else could happen?
  15. Anyone else not surprised by this comment: "I hate this man i don't think he has a clue what he's doing , talk about Nick the greek but that's probably and insult to him as this man can't sell sh*T. He was disappointed that we didn't sell our best young players with the smallest squad in the football league for peanuts , well i am i would rather the club go out with some sort of pride left in us than trying to hang on and not even be able to field a full team that can compete what's the point in that"
  16. Just been investigating AA's role at Swindon. The comment on this interesting article claims it took them 8 years to pay back a CVA!!! This AA quote is the best though (WARNING - Put down any hot drinks) “Football in this country has neglected too many simple business rules. Players command big money and clubs have paid it in order to chase their dream. It is no co-incidence that so many clubs are in a state.”
  17. Neither did my Richard S Murphy
  18. Maybe Pompey wont be the first "big (ish) club" to go pop. Talk Sport claimed earlier that Rangers may have already spent their next four seasons season ticket money just to keep the wolves at bay. Football sure needs regulating better!!!
  19. Wasn't aware that Justin Fashanu played for us until seeing a picture of him in an eighties Saints shirt on ITV this morning. Just seen this on wiki about it: "In August 1982 he was loaned to Southampton (scoring 3 goals in 9 appearances).[3] At The Dell, Fashanu settled in well and his promising form helped the "Saints" overcome the sudden departure of Kevin Keegan; manager Lawrie McMenemy would have liked to make the move permanent, but was prevented from doing so by lack of funds."
  20. Yep they've paid the mercenaries, just not the charities, the hard up local businessmen and their taxes.
  21. This quote just sums up their fanbase: "If Carla is the only option I'm happy. I just want our club. Does anyone on here really think that football clubs are run by straight, clean genuine people ? Come on it's just a way for people to clean there money. It's not a way to earn money. MOST OWNERS In the top 2 leagues anyway"
  22. I have a "solid steel crank handle" they can have. Will be useful when they get "wound up"?
  23. Do you reckon it's coincidence that Ipswich's bid was for exactly the amount they owed the taxman (well for now)
  24. If that's true then this was the girl that got Keyes and Gray sacked;) http://www.attackingsoccer.com/2011/02/charlotte-jackson-beauty-and-soccer/
