  2. Hard question to answer in today's market. He's English, but not in the national team... so start at around £40m?
  3. Crikey. Burning ambition. Although I get the sentiment as we are carrying so many players on big contracts. Shifting them is going to be so difficult.
  4. I'd even let him leave without a fee to encourage buyers. There's no way he's lasting a Ralph training session.
  5. He seems to have an imaginative agent as he gets linked with Man City & PSG every summer, so I'm sure he will try again.
  6. Think I'll remember Hughes for keeping us up than I will the start of this season.
  7. I think before losing to Palace, Newcastle had won 5 or 6 straight at home, so they are decent. Rondon will be a handful.
  8. I posted this article in early March: https://www.tsn.ca/krueger-open-to-nhl-return-if-fit-is-right-1.1269887
  9. @premierleague: Southampton have won 8 of 18 #PL matches under Ralph Hassenhuttl, as many as they’d won in 52 under their two previous permanent managers combined (Mark Hughes 3/22, Mauricio Pellegrino 5/30)
  10. Didn't appear in the last game either.
  11. Fair play to the lad. Impact performance. More of the same, please.
  12. I'm sure didn't mean to let them have 70%, but in someways, letting a counter-attacking side have the ball isn't the worst idea.
  13. It's not the popular thing to do, but I'm going to say it -- Well done Shane Long. Goal today & the Leicester goal may prove very important.
  14. What a game that's going to be Tuesday. (It's going to be rubbish, but you know what I mean!)
  15. You are also ITK! (I remember your prediction )
  16. Need Burnley to get another.
  17. Don't Wolves score loads of late goals?
  18. Mixed views really. Spoke a load of waffle & was often infuriating, but his heart was in the right place. I think he protected Gao quite well really & I think has done some good stuff behind the scenes. I was led to believe he played a key role in appointing Ralph H, so we should always be grateful to him for that. As FF said, better the devil you know. (Maybe).
  19. I'd take a draw.
  20. To do list: - Stay up - Keep Ralph H - Sell well - Buy well

  22. Ralph says he's still not training.
  23. Yeah, didn't they vote to change the rules after Gao took control?
  24. Signing up young talent from the championship is definitely a smart idea.
  25. Fortunately, I think Ross has had words with them & put them straight: https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/scott-arfield-not-wanted-southampton-14276476 No interest.
