  1. What odds on Rasmus being in the dugout himself before the season ends? Only half joking.
  2. Sure, but when putting forward an opinion people don’t usually post it as though it’s a fact e.g. ”I reckon the players want” as opposed to “the players want”
  3. Dodd and Gorman and Wise and Bassett
  4. Source?
  5. But but but! He played 8 games for us in 1996!! And Brighton is on the South Coast! (or something)
  6. It's not "my" magical 36 points. It's not a figure plucked out of the air. It's evidence based. It is more-or-less the points total that the team finishing 17th in the EPL usually needs to avoid the drop.
  7. Baffling? To stay up we're going to (more than likely) need a minimum 36 points. That's a further 21 points. That's SEVEN wins. Over the course of a season, 7 wins in 16 games is comfortably top-8 form. We only managed 9 league wins in the whole of last season - and only 4 in this. The upturn in form required to attain the minimum 21 points we require just isn't going to happen.
  8. Saintsweb gold
  9. I'd like to think we have properly considered Stephen Warnock
  10. Are you practising your American accent? Yee haw!
  11. It was Gaston Ramirez - Lawrenson said it was "never going to happen" Shame GR was shit
  12. Yep. I've spent a fair bit of time in Buenos Aires and follow River Plate as a second team. Even got two RP replica shirts.
  13. Braga didn't buy Fran Navarro either
  14. Why?
  15. For me it's more that we still require 60% of the likely points required to stay up (based on a total of 36). 60% of the points in 40% of the season - after the run we've been on and the form we're in - just seems highly unlikely whichever manager we bring in.

    Both fairly average at spin
  17. Another crisps chat would sort that easily
  18. We’re a laughing stock. A sad and broken club whimpering and limping itself towards the Championship
  19. In order to stay up it feels as though we need to appoint a big enough name in order to command immediate respect from the squad but also someone who knows how to handle a relegation scrap. Those two things don’t often go hand in hand. Big name managers generally manage clubs at the right end of the table.
  20. Knocking at least one point off because Janny B returned
  21. Typo or clever play-on-words that I’m missing?!
  22. Back in the day it was all about Kevin Francis. Seem to recall he was about 17 foot 3
  23. Yep, @ally_ukhas been calling for him for ages too
  24. And thankfully still within sniffing distance of safety. Maybe all is not lost after all
  25. He’s definitely reliable, old Desmond Footie
