And after their unauthorised meeting Klopp then messaged him regularly. Well if that's true its pretty blatant stuff from Liverpool that should get them in a bit of trouble...though I bet the footballing authorities don't have the balls to actually punish a team like Liverpool

TBF a young Thierry Henry liked Puel who also put trust in some of our youngsters last season. Tuchel it would appear had the same problem as Puel in that it was the senior players that had issues with him so we may well need a manager who can put some older players back in their place

I think I've seen Clasie and Tadic linked with moves to Italy, Jrod to Newcastle and Long to West ham we'd probably have to pay some to take Gardos. TBH if we could off load that lot, Keep VVD and use what money we got to strengthen the team it would be a pretty good summer in my book.

One of the reason Tuchel fell out with Dortmund was because he was upset about their best players being sold and being replaced with talented youth rather than ready made replacements. So if we are to follow that model we need a manager who buys into it. It certainly never felt like Koeman really did.

So question. If we put our foot down this season and make him stay one more year will people accept him leaving next season?

Yeah that's not going to happen name a few CBs on a level with VVD right now who will come to saints. We will get in someone with potential and hope they come good so we can flog them to Liverpool in two years time.

Not sure I agree Targett lacks pace which means he gets skinned by just about every winger/wide forward he comes up against.

Targett gets into the squad in front McQueen....why? From what I've seen of both of them McQueen is by far the better player.

So in other word he has no plans as of yet.... which pretty much blows the idea that Tuchel is signing for saints at any moment as Puel moves to St Etienne...

Seems unnecessary reckon Les would be more popular with the baying masses if he'd sacked him before the last game of the season like Watford did with Walter Mazzarri
