They think they should have done better last season by all accounts.

Koeman has always said he will see out his contract. If he wants a big job it's in his interest to do a good job with us in his last season. We could just make him stay ( assuming his contract has no get out clause) and plan a smooth transition to a new manager next season.

Because they are deluded and thought they should have done much better. I'm sure I read somewhere that Watford had also told him at Christmas that he had no future at the club after this season.

Not Howe Bournemouth is a good fit for him we are to big a club for him right now imo. De Boer seems a good fit to me. European experience, successful in his last job, worked with a youth system at Ajax and having worked in the Netherlands used to having his best players nicked by richer clubs.....

So what does 100million in transfer budget get you these days when your squad needs a big overhaul like Evertons? It sounds good but I'm not sure its that impressive given the state of their squad or the price of even very average PL players these days. Given Everton's place in the football world they wont be signing any big name players ( who wouldn't be interested in playing for them) and even a good player like Mane is a rated at 40 million.

Charlie is into his third summer of predicting doom and gloom for the club. You can tell he gets very frustrated every time the club pulls off another good season. Still chances are if he keeps predicting doom soon or latter will have a less than stellar season and he can hail himself a prophet......

Sums up watching England these days for me in that l was more interested in how Jose was playing than how England were playing.

Isn't that pretty much the same story that has being doing the rounds for the last week? There where reports when this all started that Everton would offer him big wages and a big transfer kitty when this story first broke and Koeman said he wasn't interested then. If that is all there is to this new round of stories I fail to see what's changed.

But Koeman is their first choice, allegedly, so Everton will only offer Emery a job if they don't get Koeman. Assuming all these press reports are true. So we should have no problem approaching Emery.

Yeah I get that but I can't see that happening. Seems to me both Koeman and the club are planning for next season with Ronald in charge after that who knows.

Is there any doubt Koeman will be here this summer? He has always said he would see out his contract. Whether he signs a new contract or not he has always said he would see at his current one.

Wasn't it Koeman who was happy to let Chambers go? I seem to remember at the time he wasn't to bothered so I cant see him being overly excited about him being re-signed.
