really are they planning to stock pile strikers? Could see him being right down the pecking order with that move. Radamel Falcao: Chelsea on verge of loan deal for Monaco striker http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33155911

Nathaniel Clyne Joins Liverpool - Official

Don't see why they need Clyne they already have and England international RB in Henderson....... -
There's always an exception to every rule (especially when you've lost half a first team and are desperate)

I'm getting the feeling we were never interested. I expect most of our signings will be cheaper foreign players with potential. Although Austin seems like a bargain at 15 million I suspect the club won't see him as being worth much more in the long term so he won't fit the approach of buying cheap and selling on for more later.

Pretty sure the IRA aren't in the Irish dictionary as terrorists. Were the French resistances terrorists? what about Irgun who fought to liberate Palestine? Viet Cong? terrorist or freedom fighters? What about ZANLA in Rhodesia? Like I said pointless word banded about by one society to degrade the fighters of another society. Most societies can't afford to fight symmetric warfare in pursuit of their aims so those that don't are usually labelled terrorists by those they oppose. I have no time for extremism in any form but I also realise the world isn't as black or white as people like to try and make it. -

Terrorist is a pointless word your terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. -
Which he hasn't if anything he has gone backwards this season. Young players like Chambers and Shaw are much better off at smaller clubs playing regularly this early in the careers IMO....but hey ho money talks and all that.

I was listening to him being interviewd on the radio before the England game the other day sounds like playing for England is a big goal for him. So any move he makes might well be made with that in mind. Saints have proved pretty successful in getting players into international squads recently even though we aren't one of the big clubs. Might have a bearing on any decision Austin makes?

I hear from his hairdresser that his head flew into Southampton this morning......
-
On the other hand he is Polish so probably already has family in Southampton. Just need him to do a Lovern to his parent club....
-
Think they blame big Sam for the sky being blue. He did a decent job for them, in reality, but WHU fans being what they are they couldn't see it.
-
Wasn't he brought in to sort out our branding? In which case he has done a pretty spectacular job.

TBF what do you think the reaction on here would be if we appointed a manager who failed twice in the championship and got sacked by a championship club less than a fortnight ago..........
-
please tell me the OP doesn't think that table is a prediction...............

CONFIRMED: Cédric to Saints on four-year deal

We said the same about Shaw, lovren, Chambers and Lallana last season and not one of them showed the form, they did for us last season, at their new clubs this season. Clyne couldn't even get into the England starting line up ahead of Phil Jones. Being a good player isn't always enough when you're at big club surrounded by good players. -
Well seeing as his contract isn't even a year old he'd be bloody expensive............
-
If anyone can get him playing like he used to Koeman can...........
-
If true I guess the club have got fed up waiting on Clyne to sign a new contract.
