NATOs orginal purpose no longer exsists so I hardly see why Scotland shouldn't be a memember if they wanted to. I really don't think it does. I imagine it will just be someone most of us wouldn't have thought of ....NC proved when he took on Nigel he was prepared to look past the usual suspects. Personally I'd be happy for Nigel to stay but then I'm not the chairman and I don't have to risk losing vast amounts of cash if we are relegated.

Kelvin is rumoured to be a good influence on the team and is (I believe) still club captain maybe his prenscence in the team is helpful on matchdays. As others have said who is in goal is almost irrelevant given our defence no reason not include Kelvin anymore than the other two.

The thread title is "who do you fancy as next manager" there was no requirement for it to be a realistic choice................. Chances are if NC pulls the trigger it will be someone none of us will have thought of as a replacement anyway (just like last time)

yep I agree the pressure (which is probably very different to the pressure of staying at the top of a league) is getting to him I think. I just don't understand the 4-3-3 at any cost mentality when clearly it would be better to play a system our players are happy with.

In fairness a lot of the mistakes our defenders are making shouldn't require PL experince to cut out...handballs,stupid tackles in the box, dwelling on the ball in the wrong places, backing off players and own goals are things any defender at any level should be avoiding. It's not like all the goals we are concending are becuase our defenders are being done by skillful PL players they can't deal with a lot of them are coming from a lack of concentration and silly mistakes.

Programme sellers? Even if we stay up no garuntee our favorite/best players would stay....they never did last time we were in the PL. It all comes down to cash no way will NC want to lose the PL money...which is why I reckon Nigel is a dead man walking.
