I expect Saints fans to want to go and watch Saints whoever the opposition to be fair, whether that is Man Utd or Barsnley..
Having said that, it's excellent it's sold out, hopefully there will be a decent atmosphere and not too many mancs in the home end.
Can't believe i'm starting to agree with Alps. Thing is though, none of us can have a go at him, since he was totally spot on about Burley, and is spot on about the current situation. I have always tried to find positives in the past but am finding it increasingly difficult.
United will beat Inter, without question IMO. They really are not that great, as Panathinikos showed. With the 2nd leg at Old Trafford think they will be fine, unfortunately.
JP has to go, but he is Lowe's man and so of course won't be sacked. He also stated on post match interview that there is no chance of changing to 4-4-2, as "it would make no difference". Nice one Jan.
As for the game, I don't wan't to talk about it.
Part of me wishes we didn't score the 2 goals yesterday, it just papered over the obvious cracks and gave the OS more propaganda nonsense that they can write about.
Can see it selling out now. Great uptake by STH's and any member who has a membership this season is bound to get a ticket. Got mine yesterday, Block 1 sold out which was a shame but happy with Block 2.
Don't see why we need a "German Market" in the middle of Southampton anyway. If you want to experience one, go to Germany and let me get on with my Christmas shopping in peace, without that wretched stench lingering through the city centre...
We play so much better away from home so isn't surprising. The whole experience of Saints at home is awful, not surprising the crowds are so bad. Bring on Palace monday.
There are what, 11,000 STH's? Lets say they all buy two tickets. That's 22,000. Add another 5000 away fans. That leaves 5000 tickets for members who have already brought Forest tickets. Everyone who wants a ticket that badly will get one.
