School I work at have confirmed cases, and appears it has spread around like wildfire. Loads of children are off with symptoms, none of whom can get a test or get anywhere remotely close to get a test. It's not like this couldn't have been foreseen, the 'lack of tests' after 6 months is absolute madness.

I really don’t understand the surprise that the teacher predictions were higher then average exam results. Of course they would be, as predictions can’t take into account the many children who get into an exam hall and fluff their lines. I’ve lost count of the amount of children who produce great work in class but don’t perform in an exam. It is, without doubt, those type of children that have benefitted. But hey, we’re in a pandemic and nothing is normal.

And probably don’t have to buy pens, pencils, paper etc out of their own money!

Midweek games are pretty annoying. Arsenal, Leeds and Manchester Utd all away. Not that I think away fans will be in stadiums at all this season.

The government handling of the A Level results is disgraceful and completely disadvantages the brightest pupils in notoriously ‘poor’ performing regions or schools. Williamson is up there with Gove in terms of complete and utter incompetence as Education Secretary.

You’ve got to isolate for 10 days now if you have symptoms, instead of the 7 they’ve insisted on since March. Thank god the virus now knows it’s July and will only be hanging around for 10 days from now on. If there has been a more incompetent response to a major issue from any government in history, I’d love to see it.

You could guarantee saps like MLG would have lapped it up. In terms of all things Lallana, if you know, you know. There’s so much I could say about him as a youngster, about his ‘wife’, about his exit, about his sister... but it’s not for a public forum.
