Never won there have we? Could be a long evening.

Ok by day, rather then date, but a year ago today we humiliated the skates on their own ground. Without doubt the best football night of my life. I remember jumping on the train home with a lad who didn’t have any shoes on, he lost them in a melee on our Goldsmith jig before the match. Great day and great memories. For all the skate bravado, they were pathetic that night.

Because they're all too scared to go back to work - whilst demanding everyone else does exactly that.

School I work at have confirmed cases, and appears it has spread around like wildfire. Loads of children are off with symptoms, none of whom can get a test or get anywhere remotely close to get a test. It's not like this couldn't have been foreseen, the 'lack of tests' after 6 months is absolute madness.

Only thing I’m shocked at is that people still use the website. Haven’t been on there in years.

I really don’t understand the surprise that the teacher predictions were higher then average exam results. Of course they would be, as predictions can’t take into account the many children who get into an exam hall and fluff their lines. I’ve lost count of the amount of children who produce great work in class but don’t perform in an exam. It is, without doubt, those type of children that have benefitted. But hey, we’re in a pandemic and nothing is normal.

And probably don’t have to buy pens, pencils, paper etc out of their own money!

Midweek games are pretty annoying. Arsenal, Leeds and Manchester Utd all away. Not that I think away fans will be in stadiums at all this season.

Let’s be honest, this all sounds horrendous. Just let us go, we’re all grown ups and if you don’t want to take the risk, then don’t? It’s ok for me to go back to work, which is far less socially distanced then football, but I can’t enjoy myself on the weekend? I can go to the pub before the game, but not to the actual game? It’s nonsense.

The government handling of the A Level results is disgraceful and completely disadvantages the brightest pupils in notoriously ‘poor’ performing regions or schools. Williamson is up there with Gove in terms of complete and utter incompetence as Education Secretary.
