It is hugely frustrating that even during the current shambles, Labour can only argue about cervixes or pie in the sky minimum wage figures. Imagine the fun a competent opposition would be having at the moment. It really isn’t good for the country to have no opposition, as we’re all seeing.

On the bright side, we appear to have assembled a half decent championship strike force.

He has been on borrowed time ever since Utd away last season. One 9-0 is a bit of a freak, two in two years is ridiculous and arguably he shouldn’t have survived it. His stubbornness will be his downfall eventually.

The choice was we sell or we keep him and let him go for free next summer. Relegation will cost us a lot more then £20million so it was actually a big risk. Yeah he might have sulked but ultimately he would have got on with it.

Should have won. We do look more solid. Playing that formation Broja has to start ahead of Armstrong. Replace Redmond/Djenepo with Livramento playing further forward and Tella and we wouldn’t be far off.

Financially, it’s probably a 7/8 out of 10. Player wise, it’s more a 4/5 for me. Not sure we’ll have enough, but guess there’s sod all we can do about that now.

I wouldn’t give him a 3 minute contract, let alone 3 years. Our GK recruitment has been a shambles for years and now we all know what happens. Some kid will come in next year and we’ll still have the worst GK in the Premier League as our number 1.
