I asked the guy about the extra tickets and I asked if the ones I had bought were for upper or lower. He just said all the tickets that we have are for the upper tier. That's exactly what he said. Just being a messenger. Maybe he is wrong but they are his words exactly.

Trust me we were lucky. There again you make your own luck I suppose. Don't get me wrong we were superb to keep them out but we could not complain if we lost. Well I feel if we win the next two we will not be caught. It is great to be a saints fan right now.

A car stopped to let people cross the road and as the woman pushed her child in a push chair, a motorbike overtook the car and hit the pushchair. It was dark and sounds like the motorbike rider did not realise why the car had stopped....knowing people at the scene, they said that the motor cyclist was absolutely distraught and has been arrested. Presumably for dangerous driving but sometimes I do wonder why cars stop in mid flow to let people cross the road or let other cars out. Absolutely tragic that a child has been lost when it could so easily have been avoided. RIP and condolences to the family.

it is only a thought.....clubs can sell tickets in advance to ticket agents (similar to what Rangers did). they pay say 20 Million quid up front for 25 Million worth of ticket sales. they then get to sell the tickets to the fans. saints benefit from the money up front and invest this so as to move forward. I have not bothered to check out the company putting this system in or what they do outside of this but could this be one of those types of deals? are this company purely a system installer or is there more to them than that? just asking a question......

Has anyone wondered if this system may be in conjunction with Saints being paid up front, for say 10K tickets for 5 years at a reduced rate, to the crowd running this new system? is this how we are now financing our push to finish the training facilities? has this created the new revenue for the new contracts and players brought in. Is this one of those scary things that may come back to haunt us if we do not get promoted? Just a thought.....

Claridge only played for that lot down the road. He is a Liverpool fan at heart so has no other allegiance than the fact he played for them. Personally I think he is pretty fair and as a pundit impartial.

As a season ticket holder I chose to pay up front. If the club are struggling to sell tickets then they should drop the price in line with demand. I will not moan about it because I made the decision to pay for my seat for the season. It would be a bit like me moaning that I paid twice as much for a holiday than someone else that waited to the last minute to buy. Well I wanted that specific holiday and I have it, they gambled that they got it cheaper, the agents had spare slots left so sold them cheaper. That is the way the world works now.......drop the prices and fill the place....fact.
