Absolutely nothing like a SAINTS traditional kit Very bad if true
-
Not me, Saints ARE Red and White stripes, and should always remain so It's the same scenario with England. Back in 66, they lost the toss v W Germany, and had to play in a spare Man U kit Ever since then, al the "younger" Fans think that it is Englands True colors It isn't It was always White shirts, Black shorts, white socks
-
Like an AC Milan away kit
-
I was right behind the line of the shot, and IMHO, the "deflection" was very slight. It simply allowed Adkins to "deflect" away from the fact that it was rank bad keeping to let one in at the near post
-
You mean apart from getting skinned for the umpteenth time and allowing the shot for the second goal ?? ...... Which, at his NEAR post, Davis should have had covered
-
I do NOTHING is guarenteed, and I still would fear Peterboro in the Play Offs Due to injury's, we DO have weaknesses, despite all the Rose Coloured Glasses brigade, and trying to plug the gaps with "Loanees" may still prove to be our Achilles heel IMHO P
-
Oh contraire Anything connected with the Ferguson's is open for debate, and YES, I do think that sort of thing could happen They all KNOW each other don't forget Good God, I suppose you actually think Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK with a bullet that changed direction 90 degrees ??
-
Will Peterboro's match on Fridat be postponed ?? They already had Grant McCann away on Intl duty Now, "mysteriously" Craig Mackail Smith is called up by Scotland Could it be the "Ferguson" connection having a word with Levein ?? How many players have to be away before a Team can request a postponement ??
-
He's teaming up with that guy from Pinnacle, and will invest in next weeks Giro to buy us out
-
Maybe so, but we DO have weaknesses in some positions due to injury's and suspensions, (and impending suspensions), and it is THOSE positions which will prove to be our Achilles heel in the run in It will be mo point in Cortese moaning at the end of the season If he really WANTS promotion, then it has to be funded, and if NO funds are available, he should TELL US
-
You are assuming Promotion This season ??? It's NOT nailed on, and could well not happen because Coretese does not get cover for players that are injured/suspended And I doubt he will spend ANYTHING if we are still stuck in Div 1 NEXT season
-
CORRECT, that is the point that has to be hammered home to a lot of "I remember when Saints were in the Prem" Saints Fans We ARE in Div 1, Trying to get out of it We need players who can play at OUR DIV 1 level, and help us get Promotion It's pitiful people going on about the CCC and Prem WE ARE STILL IN DIV 1, Englands THIRD Tier
-
Very sound, BUT We ARE "suspect" in some vital positiond due to injury's/suspensions etc, yet we have NOT brought anyone in THAT, IMHO, is sheer folly by " I shall not spend on NEW players, loanees or permanent " Cortese, and that purely MONEY decision, will come back to haunt us very shortly
-
IMHO, Two things will come back to haunt us 1) Letting a two goal lead slip TWICE in the 4-4 v P'boro .... Two VITAL points dropped 2) NOT getting Craig Mackail Smith I cannot see where they will drop any points on the run in All the more galling when it's Sir Alex's wonderful Son ( who couldn't motivate PNE ), getting all the plaudits for P'boro's Goal Machinr Team I really hope we do not have to go through the Lottery of the Play Offs

Question for the Positive-Thinkers after the Walsall result
SaintRichmond replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
Yes, in ONE-OFFS, but Division ! is a long hard slog of 46 Games against PoorerQuality Teams Saints are still trying to play CCC Football, on Div 1 Ploughed fields It hasn't worked in the past, and it aint gonna work this season either Leeds twigged that after a few seasons in Div 1, and played the type of game to get them OUT of Div 1 Not pretty to watch, but effective to get the end result Saints , AND the Supporters have yet to learn that lesson -

Got it in one TTS ..... I think that Adkins has got his head shoved so far up Cortese's 'rse, he just can't see what is happening on the pitch We NEEDED Fresh NEW players in January, but we didn't get any If Adkins thinks that is OK, then he is NOT his own man and should F Off Walsall was a defeat which triggered the Grumblers, but if everyone is honest, things have NOT been right for a while, something IS definitely wrong somewhere Long before Pardew left, there were rumours of unrest etc. Well, for my money, things are pretty much the same now behind the scenes I can just imagine Craig Mackail Smith getting a few against us in a Play off match -

Eureka ........ Mystery solved Cortese said £254K, but, it came out as £54K Easy mistake for a non Brit to make -
I Bloody hope they DO It's about time a few Home Truths hit home

Say no more I am amazed that Cortese could actually think that Reed is a POSITIVE influence at St Mary's A lot of the "disquiet " triggers from when he arrived Is Cortese too THICK to see that ??? -

No it didn't, but it will be no different in the summer transfer window, when Oxo WILL be sold All other Clubs will up their asking price for any player Saints may enquire about, same as in January just gone -
Yes, you are correct ( I was taking a walk on the wild side )
-
Delusions of Grandeur They all think they are far far better than they are Results like Tuesday should bring it home to them, but I doubt it I think Cortese should review the Five Year Plan If nothing else, he should get rid of Lou Read, a complete waste of space, who, like Risdale, has only brought Doom and Gloom to whatever Club they have been associated with
