  1. Yes we do, and it's about time people realised it (1) Lambert for example. My Granny could have moved faster than he did v's Notts County, and her wheelchair is still in for service (2) We had NO midfield once Chaplow went off, did you not hear the crowd voice their displeasure at OUR lack of trying to win the ball back (3) IMHO Jaidi is past it, good in the air yes, but a Charlie Austen would run rings around him. ( Come to think of it, so would my Granny ) Unless Cortese intends to invest NOW, we are in for a Great Big SLUMP, IMHO im
  2. IMHO, this is the "Acid Test" With Lallanas injury, it was, or should have been, obvious to anyone that we are now severely lacking in the attacking midfielder department Therefore, if Cortese is SERIOUS about the Five Year Plan, he should know pwefectly well that to keep us on track, a suitable replacement, short or long term MUST be brought in That means MONEY, and if we soldier on with what we havn't got, then IMHO, that will show that the Leibherr Money Funding is just Pie in the Sky
  3. I feel quite sorry for him ATM He was trying very hard, and I'm sure he wants to do well, but it is making him too "up tight" at the crucial moment A relaxed player would have put that chance away ONE Goal would sort it, and I really hope he gets it soon Then we will see the real Puncheon IMHO
  4. Possibly just to the end of the transfer window ?? Who knows
  5. Unfortunately NONE who can do an attacking Midfield role though Yesterday was ample proof of that It was back to hoof it up in the air again
  6. Hammond = Sooner Lallana = Later Simples ....
  7. Which game, in your opinion, will be the uppermost in the Player's minds on Tues 25th, Charlton or Man Utd ???
  8. If it were the other way around Man Ure would have twp weeks rest before the Match
  9. My personnal opinion is that Chamberlain is the more likely player to go (Arsenal ??) In that case, it would be vital that Puncheon remains IMHO
  10. A Bib will soon cure that
  11. What makes you think that the Skates can't afford him, or anyone else for that matter As long as UK Football is run with the "£1 down and 50p a week for 500 years " philosophy, then ANY Team can buy anyone The Skates "fiddled" their way out of over £150M debts. Name any other Business, or corner shop, that would be ALLOWED to run up such massive debts ???? (Apart from UK Banks, for which WE are having to repay so that they can afford their massive Bonuses)
  12. Easy way to sort this Play Jaidi against Blackpool, they have a few "nippy" players Then you'll see just how "pedestrian" Jaidi is, he simply cannot turn quickly anymore. Div 1, OK maybe. CCC or higher, forget it
  13. Or if Chambo is sold
  14. Of course not (1) He's playing for a "higher" grade Team, ie He's in the CCC (2) He did NOT want to be at St Mary's, and IMHO made that painfully obvious Having him "back" will mean Jack Sh*tt's because he does NOT want to come back So, while he's playing well, get the best price we can for him. While he was with us, we would have been lucky to have got £10 + LV's
  15. How come it was a strange move ??? He was playing Krap, but, more to the point, he didnot WANT to play for us, his body language said that Sell him whilst he's got some form back, if he comes back to us, he will be as Krap again, and will be a disruptive influence IMHO
  16. IMHO, Pardew, since our Wembley Trip, showed less and less interest in Saints His "disinterest" in strengthening the Squad for this season and the Krap pre season "training" which resulted in our useless start Whether or not Cortese meant Austin as a "definite" is a moot point. What was meant, or inferred, was that Pardew had made little effort to GET anyone in What is more certain, IMHO, is that Pardew knew for quite some time, that his future was elswhere, and, to me, it was obvious that his heart was no longer at St Marys Only NOW, are we starting to reach the level that we should have been at at the START of the season, IMHO
  17. Great idea for Nicola to consider ??? Terry Paine too, then it will be like it was ..... Paine crosses for Big Ron to head in ( What Great Memories )
  18. This does carry some weight Cortese said (somewhere) that without all the ****ing about re Pardew, that "Charlie Austin should have been a Saints player ", or words to that effect
  19. No, that was Gibbs
  20. Hopefully it is blocked by Andy D'Urso
  21. Wrong way round He doesn't want to play for us Simple as that
  22. Which. as everybody knows was the "Intensive training" referred to Horizontal jogging at 2 am
  23. I'm surprised he still thinks that I thought it was common knowledge that the "Purchaser" was already £50 overdrawn at Lloyds TSB ????
  24. Liverpool's gates in the old Div 2 were not very high Then along came Bill Shankley I agree with Cortese, success breeds success, and gates of 40000 are not unrealistic if we were (say) in the Top Four and in Europe etc
  25. Does anyone think that Pardew may "swoop" for Fonte and Lambert in January, as a means to stitch us up good and proper, and as an affectionate two fingered salute to Cortese ??
