We're going to go from having two of the best wingers in the league a week before the start of the season, to suddenly having no genuine week-in week-out starters at the position. I don't think Tella is worth £20m, but we'd be absolutely ridiculous to sell him for any less. Similar to Sulemana, he hasn't proven his £22m fee yet, but selling at a lower price than that would be baffling to me.

There was a link of a return to Genk last night, which basically said both parties are interested but they wouldn't want to pay anything near what we're looking for. Their record transfer fee is about a third of what we paid for him 6 months ago.

Smallbone has been excellent since he came on. Comfortably our best performer in pre-season and a borderline lock to start against Sheff Weds at this stage.

Lovely finish from Stu Armstrong to make it 2-2. This position/system seems perfect for the player he was 18 months ago, wonder if he can get anywhere close to that again. If he stays, of course.

Bree has been worse than I remembered. Hopefully Newcastle leave Tino alone. Djenepo and Lyanco poor as expected. Lavia doesn't seem to give a shit what's going on.

There were 8 posts on the previous page about how poor Lavia and Djenepo are playing.

Manning looking good and very active, him and Amo-Ameyaw probably the only decent performers as of yet.

This feels like a really pointless home friendly, especially given the weakened team put out. Should've just kept it for Saturday, where we should have somewhat of a team resembling the Sheff Weds one out.

Should've probably waited until the line-ups came out before spending £5 to watch McCarthy and Lyanco against Bournemouth's strongest team. They'll love this one.

Charles as a CB again. Amo-Ameyaw as a 10? Not too sure how this would look with the 433 we've been using? 4231 with Alcaraz playing deeper perhaps? McCarthy starting and captain, RM looking elsewhere already?

Sulemana is as good as gone if he isn't in the squad tonight I'd imagine, which he appears not to be.

Nice and Lille. Nice I believe are about to sign Boga for around £15m, so that'd leave him going to Lille you'd expect.

Losing Sulemana and Tella would be brutal, and would feel somewhat unnecessary given contract lengths.

Don't think there's any chance regarding ABK. Similar to JWP, he'll have his eye on the Euros at the end of the season and both of their chances will reduce from somewhat slim to essentially zero if they're playing in the Championship. Really just need to get a couple of Salisu, Lyanco, ABK and DCC out the door so we can get somebody in a little earlier.
