Not much in terms of good reading on the guy, but Johannes has earned some trust from me even in spite of the Damion mistake. If he’s no good, Larin remains the starter.

Definitely a shame. He’s a good player when fit and I’d have liked to have seen him commit to us given the patience we showed, but that’s football.

THB and Charles are an inevitability based on contract durations and the comments above. It's Jander and Scienza who are the interesting ones, I believe Jander goes and we hold on to Leo.

Coventry, Ipswich and Hull could probably all do with a keeper. Our best bet is one of them offering up £15m. Only other non-promoted team who are uncertain at the position are probably Leeds. Maybe Chelsea/Spurs at a push.

Good statement to be fair, and interesting context behind each case even if some of it is bullshit or not. Ultimately it’s all happened, is what it is and this is the best chance we have of getting promotion. Hope we’re laughing next May.

Sudden winners in this by the way are Bree and Stewart who are probably now looking at twice as favourable contract terms, if they even would still stay.

We've still got the base of a decent Championship side, but we'll immediately lose the players who looked like they could play above the level in Peretz, THB, Jander and Scienza who were the real difference makers. Assuming we'll only now be able to replace those with reasonable Championship players given the situation, we do now suddenly seem quite ordinary and reliant on players who were bit-part this year taking a huge step-up (Wood, Bragg, Fellows). Will need to use the loan market extremely well for quite a few gaps this time around I think.

Ah that Scienza post is rough. Imagine we’ll have a few more of those coming. Sad but he deserves to move on, amongst others.

A bit concerned for the first time with tickets going on sale Friday, after they initially suggested they’d be on sale tomorrow. At least we’ll know what’s going on either way after tomorrow.

I think I'd be tempted to start Downes, Charles and Jander. Looked alright when we moved into that yesterday, gives a bit more control of the midfield in a big occasion.
