  1. Is it? I think he's an extremely limited footballer and I can't think of a team he'd improve. He's certainly shown nothing to indicate he's a "good signing".
  2. Ramsdale and Fernandes were good signings. Sugawara not too far off that bracket and I like Edwards for the future. I don't think anyone else gets a game for another side in the league.
  3. Did the job last year, deserved a chance this year but a constant lack of willingness to change alongside constantly public reminders that he won’t is enough for me. Always wanted him to do well as he seems a good guy but we have absolutely zero hope in staying up with him in charge. I’m not sure it increases massively with anybody else but you have to twist at some stage. He wasn’t helped very much with shocking recruitment this Summer, but I’m fed up of him sticking with some of his mates over players who have actually shown glimpses of talent at this level. Probably give him the City game and then get somebody in for Everton & Wolves, where anything less than 6 points would confirm what is pretty much a formality at this point anyway. Throw a Mark Hughes sized bonus at Moyes, but I’m not sure there’ll be anybody decent rushing to take the job.
  4. Ref a disgrace today and I don’t love putting attention to that, not seen many worse If Taylor comes on instead of Fraser we probably win that game Smallbone seemed like even more of a competition winner than usual Even 2-0 up at HT we were anything but impressive He’ll get the City game but I think after that roll the dice and get somebody in for Everton/Wolves/Int break, this guy is not keeping us up
  5. The fact that this has Dibling as our third lowest rated player, despite him being our best, shows you all you need to know about these
  6. Onuachu has shown enough to get the start against Leicester for me Shame he wasn't in the right position for the Sugawara cross however
  7. It's fucking infuriating watching us play football man Inviting pressure on like this after all the good work defending up until this point
  8. And we gift them a goal
  9. Season completely changes in an instant if we do this
  10. Can't be missing chances like that. Great from Dibling
  11. It enters the top 3 Bad Wolf takes for sure
  12. Him and Fernandes are both excellent talents. A shame but I worry that this year will be all we get to see of both.
  13. Holy shit hahahaha
  14. Lallana looks good on the ball but he’s a training cone off of it, not sure about him really. Better than the alternatives though I guess.
  15. Same as before. Ramsdale, Sugawara, Fernandes and Dibling are good players… that’s it. Archer just a thinner Che Adams who can’t trap a football.
  16. I'd probably start the same as United but with THB in for Stephens. BBD and Archer incredibly lucky but I'd probably rather go with them than anything else we have at the minute.
  17. Sure it's been said but very funny to score seven pens in a row after missing one that actually mattered on the weekend
  18. Stewart goal could be a massive moment for us here, let’s hope we at least get him a chance
  19. Fernandes always looks like a breath of fresh air when he comes on compared to the rest
  20. ABK is never coming back into the fold then. Also don't agree with Wood being ahead of Edwards in the pecking order as he's looked shite whenever I've seen him. Let's hope Cornet looks a bit more impactful than his sub appearance. I wouldn't be wasting minutes on Fraser instead of Amo-Ameyaw at this point either.
  21. I don't disagree by the way, this was just my prediction. Based on how devastated RM has said he's been to leave these guys out the squad, he's not going to completely give up on them yet. I'd play SAA as well, but I doubt Stewart is ready to start yet.
  22. Would imagine he’ll throw Smallbone, Aribo and Armstrong all back in for this game. Also will give a few of the guys who did well vs Cardiff an opportunity too. Fraser - Armstrong - Cornet Aribo - Ugochukwu - Smallbone Taylor - ABK - THB - Bree McCarthy My guess at it.
  23. Can't argue with that really. He's been somebody I find quite easy to support, and I was worried he'd stick with his favourites all year which he hasn't to his credit. Unfortunately, the football which worked last year by tiring out the opposition and eventually breaking them down does not work in this league where you have less of the ball to do it with, and some of the worst players in the league attempting to play it. It just seems like we're going to have a decent spell each game, followed by something stupid at the back which gifts a goal away and completely changes the course of the match. It'll be interesting to see what happens if we actually take the lead in a game during one of these decent spells which we've had against Newcastle/United. Stephens and Bednarek was a horrible partnership years ago, and it's still a horrible partnership now. ABK was a Premier League standard player whilst he was fit a while back, and we should be utilising that if he's still here. I don't think he's been done much favours with the recruitment this Summer, as we seem to have just added potential and Championship-level squad fillers to an already weak Championship side. Think it's going to start getting a bit rough for RM if we don't win one of our next two. The feeling within the ground for him still doesn't seem so bad at the moment.
  24. One Premier League quality player in goal, a couple of players with potential and a bunch of Championship players. Dross.
  25. Would be the time to try pairing Downes/Ugochukwu for me. THB lucky to keep his space but ultimately I do still think he is better than Stephens. BBD a bit fortunate as well, although hopefully he operates a bit better with a striker on the pitch. Wouldn't be opposed to a Lallana start as well. Ramsdale Sugawara - THB - Bednarek - KWP Downes - Ugochukwu Dibling - Fernandes - BBD Archer
