Aribo and Lallana as your defensively minded midfielders is certainly something Any hope on this one just went for me, and that's even with Downes being pretty shit so far this year
-
Good for him. Echo the thoughts that he’s had a really poor start to the year but recent weeks been one of our best players. Definitely a favour to his U21 captain but can only be good news for us you’d hope.
-
1-1 and 78%-22%
-
I’d imagine he gets the next two no matter what at this point, with any potential changes being lined up for the subsequent international break.

Bailed out by Bree again
-
It's actually incredible how we've put one good cross onto Onuachu's head since he signed for us
-
This cocommentator is hilarious Just making up scenarios and getting annoyed at them
-
I respect your positivity but how have we completely outplayed them? We've had one chance outside of a penalty and a set piece, so you could make the same argument for our goals as well Absolutely nothing from open play today. "Completely outplaying" a team is not just passing it about 30 yards from goal
-
Insane that he's not getting at least 30 minutes today after actually looking alright off the bench in the league Just absolute stupidity
-
This Ugochukwu is dead average and the fee Chelsea paid would be our record signing
-
Fernandes is probably our only good player
-
Armstrong deserved another go after what he did last year. Was never going to work as he's technically pretty shit but it's not pessimistic to acknowledge he's a great player to keep around in case we go down
-
Going to be disappointing when Amo-Ameyaw leaves because he's still inexplicably stuck behind Ryan Fraser
-
Bernardo and Pep are just happy we played perfectly into their hands and would rather teams did that as opposed to making it tough for them Not difficult
-
Incredibly boring game where we only threatened once really in 90 minutes It'll be enough to keep him in the job for Everton and Wolves, so that's no changes until the international break at the earliest A 1-0 narrow loss against City probably looks decent on Martin's CV, which at this point is legitimately all I believe him to be interested in. He's seen what happened with Kompany and thinks he can pull off the same thing I hope he turns it around because we need 6 points from those next 2 to stand any chance but feel pretty confident to say that it isn't happening. Wolves get a point too so I think that's us 20th for the rest of the season
-
Bree for Manning is an incredibly uninspiring sub for this situation Not sure how he's not giving Onuachu a go
-
Hitting the woodwork three times isn't a particularly positive stat, he should've scored twice against Ipswich and United Not particularly sure how anybody is impressed by a deflection vs Arsenal, tap-in v Leicester and some goals against Cardiff reserves
-
Considering Archer's game is extremely limited outside of finishing, he doesn't appear to be very good at it
-
Is it? I think he's an extremely limited footballer and I can't think of a team he'd improve. He's certainly shown nothing to indicate he's a "good signing".
-
Ramsdale and Fernandes were good signings. Sugawara not too far off that bracket and I like Edwards for the future. I don't think anyone else gets a game for another side in the league.

Did the job last year, deserved a chance this year but a constant lack of willingness to change alongside constantly public reminders that he won’t is enough for me. Always wanted him to do well as he seems a good guy but we have absolutely zero hope in staying up with him in charge. I’m not sure it increases massively with anybody else but you have to twist at some stage. He wasn’t helped very much with shocking recruitment this Summer, but I’m fed up of him sticking with some of his mates over players who have actually shown glimpses of talent at this level. Probably give him the City game and then get somebody in for Everton & Wolves, where anything less than 6 points would confirm what is pretty much a formality at this point anyway. Throw a Mark Hughes sized bonus at Moyes, but I’m not sure there’ll be anybody decent rushing to take the job.
-
Ref a disgrace today and I don’t love putting attention to that, not seen many worse If Taylor comes on instead of Fraser we probably win that game Smallbone seemed like even more of a competition winner than usual Even 2-0 up at HT we were anything but impressive He’ll get the City game but I think after that roll the dice and get somebody in for Everton/Wolves/Int break, this guy is not keeping us up
-
The fact that this has Dibling as our third lowest rated player, despite him being our best, shows you all you need to know about these
-
Onuachu has shown enough to get the start against Leicester for me Shame he wasn't in the right position for the Sugawara cross however
-
It's fucking infuriating watching us play football man Inviting pressure on like this after all the good work defending up until this point
