Well we can't persist with that 5atb after the break, as we weren't even defensively sound with it. Ramsdale Sugawara - THB/Stephens - Bednarek - KWP Ugochukwu - Downes - Fernandes Dibling - Archer - BBD Wouldn't mind if Lallana started as well. Just don't want Smallribo anywhere near the pitch.

Lallana looks way better than what we've got as well, to be fair. There's been some okay attacking play today, but it will never matter with the suicidal football at the other end of the pitch. That's the crux of it.

Two weeks to make some drastic changes otherwise we're truly fucked. Ugochukwu, Fernandes and Dibling should all start the majority moving forward.

Our best player is a kid with about an hour on a professional pitch.

Start looking half decent going forward and pointlessly fuck it up at the back, it's suicide. We're going down without a fight unless something drastic happens in the international break.

I was happy with the job he did last year, but if he continues in this way and refuses to adapt then he shouldn't be here.

Switch to a 433, get Fernandes and Archer on and try to attack a football game. Embarrassing stuff.

We do not have players good enough to beat these presses on a consistent basis. It's as simple as that. It worked better in the Championship because we had superior players in borderline every game, it's now the complete opposite. I'm really just not seeing it so far this season, was hoping we'd be more flexible but this is drab.

Anyone want to try and rate it? Ramsdale signing absolutely massive. KWP staying is unexpected and a lot of decent signings outside of that with nothing too groundbreaking. Made a couple of good sales, should hopefully still shift Onuachu but I’m sure we’d have liked ABK/Sulemana out the door as well. Still definitely missing a star attacker, but I think we’ve gone from dead certs for relegation to having a chance in my mind. 7.5/10

Hmm, little bit of an annoying end to the window. Edozie really needed that move and Cornet would’ve been a welcome option. Attacking options off the bench look really weak still.

I guess we're going to end up around here then. I think most peoples ideal set-up on the left and how we've started the season on the right. Can't see him dropping Smallbone or Armstrong for what it's worth, but I think Ugochukwu/Fernandes should/will break in sooner rather than later. It's still a striker light for me but I guess we're banking on Archer's progression, with Arma as a back-up if needs be. Assumes the departures of ABK, Manning, Sulemana, Edozie and Onuachu who don't really seem to have a spot in the squad.

Wasn't overly fussed either way on Fraser at this point but not a bad option to have in the squad clearly.
