Great news in the push for 14th.

I get that, but I think it’s very harsh to describe his tenure as a failure. I think it could be time to move on but I don’t begrudge him whatsoever of how he’s kept us up without much fuss with the limitations we’ve put on ourselves.

Disappointed if this is the end as I think he's had a horrible deal of it during his tenure here. I think it'd be a shame to part ways just as things are looking more positive from a financial aspect. Unfortunately though it's just been dire for months now, hard to fight his corner much further.

I honestly thought Armstrong was going to hit 10-15 with the way he took the goal v Everton on opening day. 😆 A goal or two in these last few fixtures would be great news and I think leave me comfortable with him/Che/new going into the next season.

They were the worst team I've seen us play this season (other than us at times...) in the home game but I think it's a pretty different side now. Suddenly at the bottom of the 9-15th mini league as well, so really could use a win here.

JWP and KWP in any order of 1st & 2nd. 3rd is a little tricky as everybody else has had inconsistent spells. I was certain it'd be Salisu at one point but he's fallen off a cliff, similar to Romeu. I think you could make a decent argument for Che, but wouldn't begrudge anyone disputing that with his one sitter missed per game average.

I can't say I've kept up with it too much myself but everything I've heard about Johnstone this season is overwhelmingly negative.

I think it should be Tella and one of Armstrong/Elyounoussi for the rest of the season. I think he sometimes is a bit of an easy target by my god was Redmond bad yesterday. Not much to add about the game that hasn't been said already, but that has to be the worst set of home fans I've ever heard.

Two pretty bad teams at the moment with a random win against Arsenal thrown in there. Forster Tino/Perraud - Bednarek/Lyanco - Salisu - KWP Romeu - JWP Moi/Stu - Redmond Che - AA/Broja Couldn't really care too much about who he plays out of the toss-ups, just don't want to see 1 striker and both of Elyounoussi/Armstrong playing again.

I still don't know why though? If this isn't the time to try a player that'll likely be here next year over somebody who won't, then when is? I agree as much as everybody else that AA has looked shit, but I can't see why we're not giving him a run at this stage when we don't necessarily need goals.

Why? It's also not like Broja is getting them either.

I mean the career difference between Armstrong and Broja will be telling enough in itself.

I definitely don't see why Broja is playing if he's not staying next year. Develop Armstrong at the very least.
