I'd never really had an issue with Dan (other than the obvious drop off in quality/communication since Carl left) but I just can't possibly see the point of this article? How is 14/24 (approximately 58%) of games where a notoriously high pressing team pick up an injury in that time frame news worthy? We've actually scored 5 goals past the 70th minute this season, only Burnley and Norwich have fewer so it begs the question even further what was the point? Really strange behaviour trying to dig out the team you're meant to be making engaging content for. I'm sure you could spot similar patterns in other teams in the league (Wolves in particular), but nobody would waste their time on such shite. Drawn the short straw with this bloke looking at the other clubs representatives.

I do agree with this completely. However I do also agree with the OP that it's strange timing to be putting all these quotes out. Let the fans have fun and get carried away a little bit whilst we're actually good.

Completely agree. I hope we don’t get fooled into giving him an extension on these wages. For what it’s worth I thought he made an absolute meal out of that Maguire save. 😆 Definitely an improvement on Macca, but still very flawed. Do love the bloke though.

I'd like to think this would be one to push Romeu and phase him out at some point in the near future. (Boubacar Kamara, Sander Berge, Ibrahim Sangaré) AM: We've got lots of them and most of them are probably a 5/10. If we suddenly had a 10 goal winger in the mould of Mane again then we'd be a completely different team. I like Tella but I don't think he's the answer. (Mikkel Damsgaard, Noni Madueke) ST: I hope it can happen. It reads like it's going to be down to the player in the Summer and I'm honestly just hoping that Lukaku has a really strong end to the season. (Armando Broja) Fraser Forster, Willy Caballero, Yan Valery, Moussa Djenepo, Theo Walcott and Shane Long all to leave. I wouldn't have any issue losing any of those mentioned.

It'd make sense all round, as he definitely has something to prove (similar to Lingard at West Ham last year). He could also play either a similar role to what Redmond had been recently (just off Broja), or potentially as one of the '10s' instead. I do think there's plenty more likely suitors for him though (Newcastle, Everton...).

I wonder if the recent good form will turn the “we’ll definitely bring a couple in” to “we’re happy with what we’ve got”. Definitely don’t need any panic signings, so it’s only players for the future we should be looking at. Still hopeful of bedding in a keeper for 6 months and also maybe a winger.
