I expected a reply like this and of course there will be many others. I was bold enough to write about the dangers long before many and of course people will find that difficult to stomach so I suppose there will be many that still try and undermine my assertions.

We need a manager who is going to show a bit of passion and fight as we battle against relegation. RK is not the manager and we should have someone in mind to replace him asap.

Yes, I have been consistent in saying that the only real objective is to stay in the Premier League and that 17th would be considered satisfactory in this respect. I maintain this assertion and unlike others I do not need to change my tune.

Alpine, I have never been fooled that it was anything ither than what you have stated. Of course I have taken a beating for this, but sometimes people don't like to hear what they don't want to hear.

I have been doing this for years. Consequently, I suddenly find myself joined by many others this season.

Hope we are fortunate enough in the summer to be preparing for the Premier League as opposed to the Championship.

I think it was always about staying up from the day we kicked off. Unfortunately there has been an awful lot of complacency over the last 12 months.

The important thing is that we can concentrate on the relegation fight that we are in. This season is panning out as I expected and as I made clear at the start of the season.

I am thinking about the league. We are desperate for 3 points.

If there is a silver lining to being relegated, it is that it will force us to use some of the academy players and also if we stay down for 3 or 4 years will allow them to develop in a slightly less demanding stage. We can then go for promotion, sell them at a big profit, get relegated and start the cycle all over again.

I think the board would be satisfied with 17th. Objective 1 achieved..'stay in the premier league'

More people are talking about the possibility of a relegation fight than finishing in the top 6, which now seems absurd.

Load of trolls, the lot of them, going against the 'mainstream' agenda. Just attetntion seeking with their outrageous views and predictions. Some even saying we will finish in the top 6.

A lot of sense in this post. I would however say, that Koeman has two league matches left to deliver at least 4 points.

Koeman is 2 EPL defeats away from the sack Koeman is 2 EPL vicotries from being our manager for the future. The next two league games will decide. (The FA Cup game will not count for much).

Give the youngsters and second teamers a chance. Keep our best payers for the EPL game.

Depends whether you think losing 7 of your last 9 games is a blip or part of a long term slump.
