Of course I think it is extremely likely that we will get 40 points. However, I think we should concentrate on the league and aim to finish as high as we can without qualifying for Europe. As for the long term ambitions, surely it is enough to remain in the top league, just as we did in the 80's and 90's. Any venture into Europe could see us fighting relegation in the league.

We need to keep our eye on the league until we get 40 points then we can aim to finish higher up in the league, but not to high. I don't think we could cope with playing European games

A 'relief' in the sense that it does not matter that much whether we win or not in the Cup. Much more tense over a league game, when points are a t stake. I will feel more relaxed once we pass the 40 point mark.

Ipswich have a fine pedigree and the sort of team that would grace the Premier League. I suspect that they will be happy to put up a good game playing good football but will not spill too many tears if the lose tomorrow. Anyway, an intriguing fixture and a relief from the League.
