Highly unlikely that all three teams will get 29 or less. I keep an eye on the points gap between us and the bottom three at all times. In fact, even when we were second I looked at the table from bottom three upwards. I don't miss relegation fights but I am always aware that we are just a few points away from one. This season is no different.

You can never rule out relegation until you are passed the 40 point mark or mathematically safe.

It's time to grind out results. Time to dig in. I have maintained all along that consolidation is the aim this season. We need another 5 wins to pass the 40 point mark and then start building up the squad for next season. If we have luck on our side today three points would be a very timely boost.

The players are probably overworked with the small squad we have. Hence, why I think we shoould have 'chucked' the League Cup in our first game or played very much the 2nd squad.
