  1. Lallana !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!yes !!!!
  2. Need these 3 points to stop our slide down the table. Lets hope we get lucky.
  3. Agreed, they might slip out of the Conference which would be well worth celebrating.
  4. I think they are at a critical tipping point. If they continue to slide down the table I can see them going extinct. If it happens it it will be most galling to them, as I don't think many will notice as they are now so insignificant. I suppose when Tesco's builds the hypermarket on the site there might be a little plastic placard to remind people that they once existed on this site. Something of a curiosity for future generations.
  5. Cheer yourself up by looking at the Division 4 League table
  6. and I think that the Division they deserve to be in is the one below they are currently in ! Oh, how the wheel of fortune has changed LOL !
  7. I would rather the teams at the lower end keep losing. We need to keep a good gap between us and bottom 5 or 6.
  8. Lol !! Let's hope that their fall continues. They haven't learnt their lesson yet !
  9. They just climb over the fence after 4.00pm and leg it when the caretaker comes along.
  10. We could really do with a win or else \i see us sliding down the table and into trouble.
  11. Very good, how about the vocal few to be rewarded with the return of Branfoot.
  12. I am afraid they show no atonement. They really do need to go down again, lose what is left of their 'stadium', get relegated again and then become extinct.
  13. I hope it's not true. We paid good money for that player, we want him on the pitch delivering the goods not sat in the stands serving a ban. That would be shameful if it were to happen and IF it were true. I am sure the report is not true.
  14. Agree, Sturrock was on the way to being a disaster. Also agree the appointment of Wigley was a suicidal move. Some very bizzare decisions made at the time. I almost felt, just a hunch, but no proof, that Lowe did it in a fit of pique because he was overuled over the appointment of Hoddle and wanted to teach the board and the fans a lesson. Then, of course the wrong sort of momentum grew and it was impossible to stop 'the runaway train'
  15. He is, but we could do with another striker a bit more consistent than Osvaldo.
  16. Sturrock was a disaster, I don't think the team thought much of him and it was only a matter of time before he took us down. For all people say, Hoddle was a good manager, you don't have to like him to admit that. The same could be said of Alex Ferguson, but I didn't see many Manure fans complaining when the team was lifting the silverware. n
  17. I cannot have a discussion with myself unless I was like the 'last Dalek' in the universe.
  18. You surely cannot deny the fact that we would have fared better under Hoddle than Sturrock ?
  19. Same applies to what I said to Window Cleaner. I would be intrigued to see how he gets on, if he lands a top job. Having said that, still think we could have been spared a lot of pain if Hoddle had been appointed as SFC manager in 2004. Nearly 10 years on and the discussion rumbles on.
  20. Fair point and only a job in the top tier of football would give the evidence of whether you where right or not .
  21. The majority of fans would have welcomed Hoddle back to Southampton in 2004, but we got Sturrock instead. Nearly ten years on and the appointment of Sturrock over Hoddle remains one of the strangest decisions the SFC board made. They were probably mistakenly swayed by a small but very vocal section of fans. It is not unreasonable to trace the decline of the club at the time to this decision.
  22. ......"with a brilliant football mind"
  23. Hoddle would be keen on the role, and a poll of MSN readers put him top of a list that included Michael Laudrup, Fabio Capello and Jurgen Klinsmann. Gary Lineker, a fellow Spurs favourite, tweeted his support for Hoddle yesterday following the sacking of the Portuguese. He wrote: “AVB has been sacked by Spurs. Would love to see Glenn Hoddle given another chance at this level. Has a brilliant football mind.” According to BBC
  24. That depends on whether he is successful or not !
  25. Attention ! Attention ! The hand of Omega has been located !
