  1. Can everyone please just talk about Ramirez FFS. I've managed to add 160 high quality Ramirez related posts to this thread, the rest of you jokers are just annoying the lurkers who only want ACTUAL news!
  2. He's had no one with pace to ping it to in the prem.
  3. As I said yesterday, based on a 433 formation we currently have the following forwards... Central strikers: 1 of Sharp, Rodriguez, Lambert Wide Forwards: 2 of Mayuka, Puncheon, Guly, De Ridder, Lee and maybe Ramirez. Consider that a couple of these guys will be sold or not selected, I don't think it's excessive re the numbe of forwards we have at the moment
  4. You're missing my point. If you have a player on your team who gives the ball away 9/10 times, what generally tends to happen with that player?..... they stop getting the ball from their team mates. The fact that De Ridder ended up feeding off scraps as you put it was more down to him and his lack of end product when he DID have the ball in good positions.
  5. That's what I think as well. Why would we tell his agent that he's playing. Telling his agent that he's eligible to play is more plausible considering we were waiting for intl clearance
  6. He's a an attacking player so undoubtedly will have his moments. However it's clear that Adkins didnt trust him and that probably transcended to the rest of the team. I saw Steve is good positions plenty of times where he was overlooked but you have to question why....maybe he was poor in training more consistently than others?
  7. I agree, however, it will also depend on whether the team consider that releasing the ball earlier to Muyaka will result in an end product which was severely lacking with De Ridder. It's down to the player to show the team that giving it to him early to ultilise his pace will actually result in a chance rather than the concession of possession, a key feature of our game
  8. Maybe the team realised that it's better to keep the ball rather than to give it to De Ridder and end up with the resulting goal kick?
  9. So you're asking if we will be giving him the ball? Sorry, looked like half a sentence with no reference to any other post etc. To answer your question then, yes I think we will pass him the ball.
  10. Here is another of our little rays of sunshine. Time to stop peddling this tired crap, no club will agree terms with Bologna now. It's either us or he stays at Bologna
  11. I just take a lot of poo's
  12. Sounds like Golden Balls should be our first choice keeper!
  13. Sorry to pick holes but what exactly did Sharp do on Saturday which made him look "decent"? Did he even get a touch? Not saying it's his fault as we where hoofing it by the time he came on but for me, he offered nothing at all.
  14. They've left it too late anyway to get anyone of quality in. We've been gazumped for all our top targets and anyone we bring in now is a last minute gamble like Jos was last year. I know for a fact that Adkins was accidently reminded only last week that we need a new CB when his Microsoft Office Outlook sent him an old Calendar reminder from last January.
  15. No offence, but I think I'd rather trust the scouting departments judgement.
  16. Spurs signing dembele. Very much doubt Ramirez on their radar between now and Friday
  17. Then why are you banging on about us getting in defenders to replace our existing players you utter utter freak?
  18. Agree with all this. It's amazing how many people don't seem to get your last point though. For me, we now have: Central strikers: 1 of Lambert, Rodriguez, Sharp Wide forwards: 3 of Mayuka, Lee, Guly, Puncheon, Ramirez or another. Doesnt seem excessive to me.
  19. Agree, let his current little worm wriggle around his brain for a couple of days. Like a screaming child who is having a tantrum, ignore them and they will get tired and stop
  20. No idea, sounds like bull**** to me
  21. What do you know about him?
  22. Yea, he's no Nixon! Seems to be saying we have bid for another of the players on the agents books as a plan B should Ramirez not get a permit. bizarre.
  23. No idea....that we've paid the agent 6M dollars already without knowing if Ramirez will get a work permit?
  24. We finally bring in someone with pace, more adapt to the formation we now play and you decide to bring this strange viewpoint to the table?
