30 years ago, the prem wasn't the biggest football league in the world, players were not multi-millionaires and it wasn't a global game like it is today. Football has changed. Your problem is that you were born about 30 years too late for what you want. If stripes and MLT and Benali is all you need, fair play.

What's a football person? Someone who has lead a club from bottom of league 1 to top half of prem in less than 5 years probably qualifies.

I'm not stressed, there are more important things in life. What happened last time came nowhere near to what is being reported now. Cortese is clearly going/gone and the fallout from that remains to be seen but I can't see how we can be better off for it.

He's almost certainly gone. Be optimistic if you like but I can't see much good to come from all this in the short to medium term anyway. People forget about the structure of the club from top to bottom and how important it has been to our recent success.

We will see. Under normal circumstances you're right but Cortese drives forward all of the "features" you speak of and there would be zero gaurentee that any of it will continue in the same vain. Some may like to think that players have a gun pointed to their head out of shot in interviews etc but the reality is, nearly everyone talks about how important the chairmans vision is for the club and for them and based on what I've heard, the player commitment to Cortese is genuine.

Vey niave to think that a NC exit wouldn't have a significant impact on players and their belief that we can offer them what they want to achieve.
