Lerner has cocked up there in the last 18 months for the way he treated MoN, the cutback of transfers and the farce of the GH appointment - as harsh as it is, his illness was a convenient get out for them.

Fans will always over-rate players at their club. There is no way Lambert is one of the best players outside of the premiership. He's a good player for us and I love him, but let's be realistic - he's not in the top 100. Fonte has been a decent Championship CB - but has a way to go before proving he's one of the best outside the premiership. The gulf between L1 and the premiership is enormous. I think the list is quite accurate and of-course they're all going to be subject of transfer speculation - they're all very talented and sought after players.

Next season is nothing to do with avoiding relegation, if we're anywhere near the bottom 3 then it'll be an awful season.

There never is with us, and it will always be quiet. Every transfer window has been managed fantastically, you never know who we're going to sign until it's announced. Much better than weeks and weeks of will he/wont he.

I'm with you on this Nick. I find it odd that everyone is resigned to it today, even though we know no more than we did 2 weeks ago. If i remember correctly, we had a similar article and thread in January and everyone was convinced, but it didn't happen. Until it's on the OS then it's a load of rubbish IMO.

Don't know why they want him tbh, he's not championship quality...yet.
