NA: - Good first half, should have been more ruthless. But pleased with the workout - Credit to Swindon for their effort - Trying to pass with purpose, penetrate and get in behind. Always has to be an end product, it's a simple game really. - Had a great start to the season. Exceptionaly good pre-season, players are in good nick. Scored alot of goals, won alot of games. Played good football. Fitness is light years ahead of what it was at Christmas. - De Ridder has a kick on his foot, bit swollen. Doesn't sound too serious. - Chappers has had a bit of an issue with his knee that was sorted out during his 3 game ban, will be available for the next game. - Squad ''could get bigger'' - It's an exciting time isn't it?? Everyone tuning into sky, or the BBC. My phone has been very busy today, as I said at the start most clubs will leave it till the last few days. We're trying to strengthen, but there isn't a massive panic about it. You can throw lots of names at me, but you're not going to get any answers! If it happens it's because we want it to.

We play Charlton or Preston at home.
-
our passing and ball retention has gone up another level this year.
-
Sounds like richardson has fallen on his shoulder......
-
2-0, Jonno Quick Could be any score if we want it enough.
-
1-0 and totally dominating the game.
-
Sounds like an excellent showing so far.
-
guuuuuuuuuuuly 1-0.

Lee Bradbury is totally useless as a manager, his win % must be 10% or something since he's been there. They only got into the playoffs last year from what Howe did, they'll be in a relegation battle this year, no question.

Wonder if it'll be broken in the next 24 hours...
-
Let's hope he drops some transfer hints.

Swindon team for anyone that's interested: - Swindon Town: Phil Smith; Paul Caddis (Capt), Alberto Comazzi, Aden Flint, Callum Kennedy; Matt Ritchie, Simon Ferry, Jonathan Smith, Lander Gabilondo; Alan Connell, Leon Clarke Hardly anyone I remember from their L1 days.

Interesting, what with the rumour about us offering Butterfield and cash for Clyne. (albeit only on twitter)

I think Barnard is still injured, that's all I can think of tbh. If he is going out on loan then we must have a striker joining tommorow.
-
Subs - Davis, Fonte, Lambert, Hammond, Reeves, Dean, Hoskins Surprised not to see Chaplow involved...?
-
I reckon it's Gully up top, Lallana on the left and Holmes on the right.
-
erm yes.
-
great to see Lallana as captain, I reckon he's got that role nailed on in the future.
-
Panic signing if I ever saw one.
-
Players you'd love to see at SMS but will never sign...

Alot of footballers should look up to Adam and his attitude. You can see how much he loves playing just by his performances, you get many players who just strut their stuff for the ££££££ but Adam looks like a totally different breed and it's refreshing to see.

I just think we'd be wasting our time TBH, when we could be focusing on gettable targets such as Ben Turner, Matt Killganon etc. There isn't long left in the window and I cannot see Dann leaving for anyone but a prem team. He is also apparently on 30k p/w, which would exceed what we'd pay in wages.
-
Nice one, I guess without a game for a week or so it makes sense for him to play - he's going to have enough rest anyway.
-
I think if we really wanted this guy we'd have got him earlier, I wouldn't give up hope on Jay Rod just yet - I think it's a good sign that all Southampton rumours are ''quiet'', usually means something is imminent these days. I think everyone was resigned to the fact that Jack Cork wasn't coming, then all of a sudden within a day it was all done. Tomorrow will be exciting IMO.
-
He will not stay in the championship, It would be a waste of resources even trying for him. Time is tight - we need to focus on realistic targets.
