  1. I just knew we'd win this one, we always manage to raise it for the bigger games which makes the Rochdale and Walsall results even more frustrating! Hartlepool at home will be the killer test though - comes very quickly after this one and we've put so much into this. We should win it...but let's not count our chickens just yet, still a long way to go in order to secure this! This team is terrific though, the complete mentalist that said before the game ''we don't have the mental strength as other teams'' - care to come and retract that comment? This is the sort of win that could psychologically kill Huddersfield.
  2. Sounded a bit of a dodgy start there!
  3. He isn't.
  4. Why do people post things like this? Our position in the league is dictated by the start we had, since then we have been as good as Brigthon and better than Hudders/P'Boro over the course of the season. We have a fantastic team spirit, a terrific bunch of players who all want to win promotion - there is a drive, that was clear to see against MK Dons. The fact that you didn't expect to see us battling with Huddersfield for a promotion place is a bizarre comment too. Who else were we going to be battling with? This is L1 and Huddersfield are one of the best teams at this level. The fact we're in this position after the start we had is a great effort IMO.
  5. You're ignoring the Wilkins period though, where we lost 4 games on the bounce. That is what has made this so tight, if we'd have had Adkins from the start (or even Pardew stayed and everything was rosey) then I honestly believe we'd be very close to Brighton, if not above them. Everything we have done since Adkins has been ''in the building'' has met my expectations results wise.
  6. You are such a knob.
  7. wooo come back on - 3-1
  8. It's not even close. Theirs is 28 ours is 38
  9. Two horse race it is then!
  10. 3-0
  11. fair enough, they've missed it. won't change the result though.
  12. pen to hudders well and truly all over.
  13. MK Dons sound awful, this game is over.
  14. Don't get too carried away with today's results, there's nothing we can do about them and it's still in our control no matter what.
  15. Our defense is dodgy? wtf are you on about?
  16. I don't believe this, I only believe what the Crystal Palace fan said a few weeks ago (we were in dire financial trouble, and all our academy kids had been released). He knows more. (Good news btw)
  17. TBH I don't like the idea of signing players who have been relegated (Henderson/Montgomery etc). Kyle Naughton would be the signing of the season if we could get him, I think he could be in spurs team next year though.
  18. My wish list for next year would be Kilgallon or Wes Morgan at CB - Marvin Elliott in cm, billy sharp up top and Kyle Naughton at RB....sorted. Sprinkle the likes of Lallana, Chambo, Lambo, Morgan etc around them and we'll have a top championship team...
  19. I think it's because so many high profile people are caught up in the mess and cover up (redknapp, scudermore, FA Bods etc), and anything revealed would bring the entire English game into disrepute.
  20. Matthew Kilgallon for me.
  21. Hudders are away at brighton when we play away at brentford. I feel there is a slip up in the hudders/pboro run ins - but it may not come in the most obvious fixtures. I remember posts before we played Norwich away last year ''we'll be thumped'' ''they'll **** us'' etc.......
  22. They have no real rivalry, so they are trying so desperately to create one. It's the same with Bournemouth as it also was with Reading. There is only one real rivalry on the South coast, all the others are pretty insignificant to us to be honest.
  23. lol. Hows the Emirates? IMO Wenger has lost it.
  24. Absolutely. It doesn't help when you're hindered with an injury at the start of the season too, that's prob cost him at least 10 goals. Last season he was up in the charts with Drogba and Rooney, yet funnily enough they have both had low scoring seasons (compared to last) too. I think the efforts of last season for the likes of Lambo/Rooney/Drogba etc will hit back at you physically as they've all struggled fitness wise. He'll still get 20 IMO which is a great return.
  25. It really isn't a disgrace. I don't get these posts. Claridge is fair and always has been. For some reason we want praise from every single pundit, if it's not forthcoming they're ****s....!
