anyone worried we haven't heard anything yet? If it was good news they'd surley shout it from the rooftops as soon as they could.
-
Mk 1 - 3 Plymouth game over there, good result for us.
-
Sunderland should be laughing to the bank. Good player, but they have Gyan who I rate higher than bent - and their partnership never really ''clicked'' so it's a good opportunity for Bruce to go out and buy someone who can compliment and play alongside Gyan. They're in a great position to attract someone half decent too...I think they could do well out of this move.
-
Not having a dig at you personally, but that is the most far fetched thing I have ever heard in my life. Offers are sent in via fax usually, or by some form of electronic copy. How would the driver know what's in the letter though before he's even collected it...?
-
wow, firesale at Swindon. Morrison is a very good CB. They were talking themselves up massivly at the start of the season. They could be in trouble when Austin goes.
-
Nope you're right, just the normal rubbish. Jumbled up quotes to make a story. they did the same with Guly and Lallana last week, making it sound as if we'd signed Guly...
-
I know i'll get all sorts of moans and groans for this, but Jermaine Wright in our playoff season would get into my top 5.
-
No chance. Top champ. player, wouldn't drop to L1. and i'm not sure he's really a priority signing anyway tbh. I'd rather we spent money on attacking wingers/forwards if we have to.
-
wow what a coup to get james richardson presenting our region. top presenter.
-
lol
-
That isn't his twitter account, Swindon fans have been talking about that on their forums.
-
Becuase that's boring Trousers, they like stiring. And there isn't much going on transfer-wise...so they have to try make up/distribute a few rumours.
-
It's obvious he's going at some point in the near future, it will be the summer though IMO. 6 more months and a league winners medal is a nice thing to have on your wall!
-
We have creative players all over the pitch. Morgan, Punch, Oxo, Chappers, Lambo, Dickson down the left etc... we'll always create opportunities without Lalanna if that's what you're getting at (and we did create chances on saturday too, even though it was pretty drab)

There is some stuff from Swindon fans saying we've lodged a bid - although this was from a few weeks ago http://thetownend.com/index.php?topic=42140.60 ''My sauces tell me that Sothampton are pulling out the stops to get him....do you reckon he would go there?'' still can't see it happening though tbh...i don't think we'll be making any ''big name'' signings. I'd happily be proven wrong though!!! ...and i see another ''localish'' team are trying to make a rival out of us. Quite sad really
-
Same tbh. I don't see it happening.
-
If he scores lots of goals and leads us too success i couldn't give a damn about his personality if im honest.
-
Agree with that totally. At Millwall he was relaxed, enjoyed his game and then out came his championship quality. All he needs here is a goal, it's been a horrible barren spell for him in a saints shirt and I think it's affecting him mentally. Adkins is the best possible person to help him with that though.
-
Pilkington would cost double that, maybe even more. Hudds aren't mugs and they have a bit of cash behind them now. There are prem. teams scouting him as well, def. one of the best players in the lower leagues. Not the sort of signing we'd be able to make yet. Someone like Harley, or even pugh at Bournemouth are def. reasonable targets for us. Wouldn't cost a fortune and are very good at this level.
-
He was ok today - nothing more. His touch and build-up play is always pretty good, exquisite at times...but unfortunately it's that final pass or that final shot that he's lacking with us at the moment. He's not going anywhere now that's for sure.
-
I think he is a bit, he was just out-muscled if im honest. Didn't get much time on the ball and they had 4 or 5 players around him whenever he started running. Was quite a difficult game for him, he did have a couple of moments though which resulted in one of our best chances - when punch blazed over the bar.
-
Too late on that one Derry, Papa has joined a 2nd division Italian team. (couple of weeks ago i think) I agree with your summary though. We weren't really allowed to play which made for a pretty numb game.
-
Sounds very worrying if im honest.
-
It's amazing how it can never go right at this club for more than a week.
-
Pretty poor today, nothing of note really happened in and around the box at all. At least we didn't lose it.... oh well, on to next weekend.
