I'm not going to get too worried over tonight's games - whatever the results, although I'm sure they will be a few culprits who declare our season is over if Posh win.

But no one else would ever have a chance of winning. It would just be dominated by Alpine every year which isn't fair.

I don't think anyone is saying 20 will 100% guarantee it, or is mathematically enough. But based on the teams form around us, our form, seasons gone - 20-21 points should be enough. 28 points would equal a bit of a freak season.

Good news, he was never going to be fit for any games over this weekend anyway - which is why it's now turned into a bit of a blessing that the Plymouth game is called off. At least it gives us a good week with him, resting up, giving him the best possible chance for Saturday.

I wouldn't! Games against Exeter, Chesterfield, Rochdale and Yeovil are boring and the away games are horrendous. I want to see us compete at places like Leicester, Cardiff, Swansea etc. onwards and upwards...

Your point about Richardson is miles off though. He was a significant signing in the close season, costing near enough half a million pounds. Wages will be decent, not low, because he'd have already been on decent money at Charlton. The money really hasn't dried up, as others have said - significant investment was put forward initially to ''Build'' a team. That team has been built, however money has still been made available for the odd 1 or 2 additions to strengthen it. We don't need another mega-bucks striker or a megabucks midfielder. We already have the team in place, additions like Dale are perfect.

Yep - there'd be a loan fee involved and also a pre-agreed transfer fee for the summer. (Oldham fans speculating between 400-500k)

Oldham fans were describing him in the same way, their key player. Took their pen's too and was their vice captain. Really optimistic about this signing.

88 is a little too high IMO. I still think 85/86 will do it - for whoever gets there first.

Adkins was pretty positive sounding about it on the interview, and we haven't rushed about trying to replace him today. So I don't think Chambo is too bad at all.

It doesn't appear a cheap option to me at all. We've signed a teams best player, clubs from the premiership wanted him and we went back with a second offer which turned his head.

How can you say it's the cheap option when you have no details of a) - The wage offered, B) the Loan Fee and C) the fee at the end of the season.?

Just watched his goals for Oldham this season - a few pens, but some cracking hits from outside the box. He seems the type of player that makes late runs into the box and starts off attacks by playing the ball deep...and then continuing to run forward. At the mo - I'd stick him in there in place of Chappers.

I reckon he's another Freddy Adu and is actually 35.

They've got no chance of promotion being 15 pts behind at this stage. They are skint, openly considering administration and we offered them a decent financial package which clubs in their situation and size cannot really turn down. He's their best player and we've once again signed one of the best players at L1 level.

Apparently as Scotland's game is on Sunday, Mackail-Smith is still available for Friday nights game.
