No wembley trip unfort. Playoffs are at Old Trafford
-
I very much doubt it.
-
Let's not be too down ffs. It's not like we've lost.....they will not win every single remaining game.
-
90+3 mins ffs!!!!!
-
Oh no ffs what a **** night.

Wednesday 1 - 3 Posh
-
FFS , how **** are Wednesday? 3-0 now. I bet they'll miraculously turn into an amazing side against us on Saturday..!
-
He's been gone for a long time!
-
bloody Mackail-Smith
-
I've seen him play for both Sheffield United and S****horpe, and he scored goals in the level above. He's a good squad player for us at the moment
-
He seems a decent pro - so I can't see him handing in a transfer request or anything, so I'm sure he'll see out the season there, score 30+ goals and then move on in the summer. Hopefully to us!
-
Agree with you on that DD. Thats why I feel sorry for Forte and N'Guessun, they're good players in their own right but they'll be given little chance here (as we're seeing) because they cost a pittance and aren't Macakil-Smith/Austin etc...

Breaking news - danny ward signs for Huddersfield
S-Clarke replied to skinner05's topic in The Saints
Good thread title..(!) Good signing for Huddersfield, replacement for Pilks really. He wouldn't get into our team in the place of Lallana or Chambo. -
Hammond is a good player and is in a good run of form at the moment. I've always liked what he offers, he can look limited at times but I think he always gives his all. We don't need cover for Chambo and Lallana, that's just being greedy tbh. We have N'Guessun and Forte who have not had a chance to make an impact yet, they can play on the flanks (either side) or up front. I don't understand why they're being written off with less than 120mins to their names.

9 points out of a possible 9. Bournemouth - haven't been beaten at home since the start of December, and we won 3-1 there. Colchester - hadn't been beaten at home since November, and we go there and win 2-0. Yeovil - not a great game, but 3 points , 3 goals and job done. All that's needed at this stage of the season. But those 2 away results are stand out for me - terrific results.
-
You are making yourself look very silly on here saint lard. It's like you're desperate for him to do badly so you can say ''I told you so'' - but you're bringing up totally ridiculous reasons as to why he's ''rubbish'' and apparently promotion form since Adkins has been ''in the building'' isn't good enough. Just accept that you've been proven wrong before you embarrass yourself even further - he's a good manager.
-
Agreed, although we all have pretty tricky run-ins. P'Boro def. have the hardest though, which is good news based on their current form.
-
Results wise we have, maybe not in terms of performances - but who performs 100% every game over the course of a season? Results wise we're up their with Brighton, unfortunately our start hampered us - which isn't anything to do with Adkins and co.
-
Out of contract at the end of the season I think...
-
We underperformed at the start of the season, but I'd say we've performed to expectations since. Given the start we had, we needed to go on a run of top form to get in and around the automatics again - and we're there.
-
Some players not in good form at the moment....but we are still winning!
S-Clarke replied to Firead's topic in The Saints
Only one I agree with is Chappers, his form has really slipped in the last few games. We all saw what he's capable of though, and I'm sure he'll get back to it. He's going to be a mainstay for the rest of the season now. -
Hoddle would have got us second.

Bournemouth 1 - 3 Saints - Post Match Reaction
S-Clarke replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
Team was pretty much the same, only 3 players were missing - Otsembor (thank ****) Morgan (Injured) and Punch (buggered off) -
Nice one. Any reason?

If it does go to the last game of the season...then we have to be second going into it. The key games on the last day: Bournemouth v Rochdale, 15:00 Huddersfield v Brentford, 15:00 Peterborough v Dag & Red, 15:00 Southampton v Walsall, 15:00 All at home against struggling teams...you'd fancy everyone to win their games.
