Not sure on that at all, I'd agree with that observation if we'd have drawn the game. But we won it - 4-1. I don't know what some of our fans expect, i really don't. 4-0 wins, perfection all throughout and now sloppy bits in the middle - otherwise we're not good enough. Just my opinion, but i think we played well yesterday. I think we showed alot of bottle to raise our game as soon as they equalised. Oppo fans must think we're a bunch of idiots with the stuff we post.

We started well, tailed off in the middle and ended the game brilliantly - as well as we have played for a long time. Barnard made a real difference when he came on, Guly for all his effort and chasing seems to lack any sort of ability some days. A really odd player, blows hot and cold...thought we would start to see some consistency from him! I agree with comments about Morgan - our midfield in the first half was a bit wild and flying all over the place, we didn't have that guile and composure which is why we couldn't control it. Morgan came on and we suddenly passed it and retained the ball much better - no coincidence. Overall, great win - great last 30mins and some handy results for us this weekend (Not forgetting Charltons loss last night). ...will Bournemouth just quit winning though? They were without their ''3'' best players today apparently.

No age to go. Too young. Will always be held in high regard by all saints fans. Top bloke, top player.

They just signed Mike Grella on loan from Leeds in time to play us. He caused us all sorts of problems when he was on loan at Carlisle in the away match.

TBH I think the ''everyone else drew'' is a little clutching at straws. I look at it as more of a missed opportunity, we're not going to get many more weeks where they all do us a favour like that (if any). This was the sort of game that we needed a scrappy 1-0 win. - It's definitely not as bad as it could have been, but that's more down to luck than us having a part to play in that.

We play in fits and starts. 4 wins in a row followed by stinking results, a 6-0 followed by a 0-0 or a loss etc. I hate to say it, but its the kind of form that usually separates automatic promotion teams and play off teams. I honestly thought we'd take the **** in this league this year, we couldn't really have a better opportunity. I cannot understand our inconsistency at all. Let's hope we can go on a real run in the final few months.

Bad night really. It's night like these we need to capitalise, we're not going to get many more opportunities where the teams around us drop points too. What can you do eh? Billionaire owner, signing the best players in L1 and good players from the championship - keeping hold of 2 of the brightest young english players and I still can't see my team win a league or play with any real consistency. This is L1 ffs...
