  1. I agree with that DD. 12 points from 21 is actually a dip in form too.....so if we continue as we have done since Christmas i'd say we'll prob get around 17-19 points.
  2. play offs at the moment is a very unlikely scenario. It will take a serious dip in form for us to miss out on 2nd. (Our form would need to return to the Wilkins period) We got 10 points from the last 4 games. We now have 7 games to get 15 points (But i still think 11/12 will be enough...) Over the last 7 games we have accumulated 19 points, the 7 games before that we accumulated 14 points and the 7 games before that we got 13 points. See what I'm getting at....? And those groups of 7 games include defeats at the likes of Tranmere/Wallsall etc. So we even have the luxury of being able to drop a point or two (not saying we will)
  3. As long as we win our remaining home games (which I expect us to do tbf) then IMO we'd only need another 3 points from our remaining 4 away games. That would give us a season total of 86...
  4. When we're comfortable in 2nd (not just in there by GD) then we can start looking in front of us. At the moment it's still very much about us keeping an eye on what's behind us.
  5. Not a chance. Let's just concentrate on 2nd..
  6. wtf? Bizzare. I remember posters saying Bale isn't all that and he'd get found out. He's now one of the best players in Europe.
  7. Yep! All players have a suspension clean-sheet now i think? I believe it gets wiped tomorrow.
  8. Totally agree with you. Which is why that 1-1 is an amazing result for us - couldn't have been more dramatic either!
  9. Such a result, we showed proper mental strength today and Fonte is coming close to pipping Lallana for POTS. The 1-1 between Hudders and Posh was the best result for us, a P'Boro win would make me nervous because their run in is quite ''pleasant'' compared to Huddersfield s. All challenging teams dropped points today apart from us and Brighton, it's the best weekend of the season so far imo.
  10. what.a.wonderful.day stunning. That 1-1 result was the icing on the cake for us, amazing. Pivotal day today.
  11. should be 1-1. we're hanging on by our finger nails!!
  12. Oscar coming on Guly off
  13. Hanging on here.
  14. LAMBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1-0 wonderful play by Dickson
  15. great set peice. header from Fonte straight at GK...
  16. Sounds like Orient are a horrible dirty side
  17. What would be the point? If we do replace Davis it will be someone whos around 10 years younger. And he had a truly shocking 2nd stint at Ipswich.
  18. I think the fitness and condition of the players at the start of the season was disgusting and you have to look at the previous management for that, and ask wtf they were doing during that expensive pre-season? Since Adkins has been ''in the building'' and has got his fitness regimes laid down everyone is looking better for it. If we'd have started the season as we are now then we'd be up there with Brighton, if not leading the way.
  19. Lambo was excellent tonight. The ball into Barnard in the build-up to the first goal was sublime. Alot of his play is outside of the box though, playing balls in behind, putting it into the box etc. That's why he's not racking up the goals as he did, he's taking a slightly different role - in order to fit into the team Adkins wants, and he's bloody good at it tbf.
  20. Good performance that, very similar to the Shef. Wednesday game from a few weeks back. Pretty comfortable, never in danger and job done. Injuries were a bit frustrating and it killed the game. Listening to Adkins none of the knocks we picked up sounded too bad, just a bit of rest and we'll be fine. This weekend is huge though, bit nervous...
  21. If Sheff U go down, Ched Evans would be worth a punt. Good player.
  22. Hes fine, Adkins confirmed so after the match. He will play tomorrow.
  23. Yep, back in December - They haven't played any top 6 teams since though, all bottom half teams manily.
  24. They are a good side, agreed. I think people are just looking at their run-in and it's probably the hardest of them all - so i'd be suprised if they win all of their remaining games (Which is what Lee Clark has stated they need to do). As long as we keep our form up (20/21pts from every 10 games over the course of the season) then I'm sure we'll make it. I cannot see Hudders bettering that return from their remaining games (they may equal it, but our GD is an extra pt and neither can overhaul that now) - the threat is still there from P'Boro but if we win tommorow night then we start creating a gap between 3rd and the rest...
  25. - yeah must be! Random typo. *elated
