  1. He posts these every transfer window, but he's yet to be right about a single one.
  2. Not sure why we'd need him?
  3. Yeah - it's very erratic Download Speed: 25409 kbps Upload Speed: 2627 kbps (In the maybush area) It's not the speed that's the massive issue (although as I pay for 50mb that's pretty poor), it's just the constant packet loss I'm getting - every 10mins packets just drop off for about 10secs and in that time anything I was doing just dies. I'll try and give them another call tomorrow Badger, the problem I've had is that I'm often cut off when speaking to them.....although I've been given a free number for their 50mb fault line which I'll give a go from my mobile.
  4. Who else has Virgin in the Soton area? I've never known such a **** ISP. I pay for 50mb but haven't got anywhere near it for weeks, our VOIP phone keeps cutting off phone calls and online gaming is just no-go. Just wondered if anyone else is having similar probs?
  5. Exactly...amongst the best keepers at this level.
  6. It's not Morgans job to score goals. He was the best player on the pitch in the first half yesterday and is our best midfielder by a mile, I'm baffled how some people still question him. We don't need any additions to midfield. We have hammond, Chaplow, Morgan and Guly (he is primarily an AMC) and even Gobern is an option...oh and then you have Chambo who can play middle too. Midfield is the least of our concerns. We need a pacy striker, that's all.

    Under 18's

They're going really well, Dodds done a great job with the setup.
  8. Started off quite well, but hasn't scored in months and the fans are starting to lose patience with him. (so is the manager by the looks of it, barley gets a game now)
  9. and on the note of Harding, we need to get him signed up ASAP. He's out of contract in the summer.
  10. Great post Clifford Nelson, agree with every word.
  11. Simeon Jackson - apparently Norwich are looking to loan him out in the loan window to get some games, as he's getting a bit unsettled with not enough playing time. He'd be perfect.
  12. To the championship. I'd expect him to end up at Leicester.
  13. He follows a great touch, with a clumsy touch though which kind of makes him look poor and inconsistent to neutrals. He's a very handy player for us at this level though.
  14. We probably won't sign anyone perm. now, but it's not a massive issue. We have the loan window to open yet and apparently Simeon Jackson at Norwich is unsettled and they're looking to ''loan'' him out when the loan window opens. I think we'd be sensible waiting for that one tbh, he's exactly what we're lacking up front.
  15. That's the spirit.
  16. I don't think there's much between either keeper, they're pretty equal really. Davis will come back in on Tuesday and regain the captains armband. It was nice to give Bart a run out in a game like that though.
  17. I think people need to come to grips that we are actually now a lower league club, in the football league, and small gravy to teams in the premiership. Us beating blackpool was a ''giant'' killing. I see no issues what what Owen was saying other than the truth. What do you expect him to say? Why as a supporter base are we always looking to be spoon fed and provided with compliments?
  18. Yeah that Ryan Giggs, total average player isn't he. I can't believe your complaining after that performance. Mental.
  19. He was quality, alot of people didn't think so though - but that's because he played a different role. He was asked to be tactically disciplined which restricted his attacking play a little, but he didn't do a thing wrong and demonstrated that he reads the game very well.
  20. I thought NA got it tactically bang on in the first half, Chambo was drifting into the middle and causing them problems. Morgan sitting a little deeper just ticking it over, worked really well and thats why we were on top for so long.
  21. I think what we lack up front is a bit of pace. Lambo and Barnard will still cause problems for most champ teams...but just a little pace to help in behind wouldn't go a-miss.
  22. Really enjoyed that, I never understood the ''well get thrashed comments'' - we were always going to give them a game, we're a very good team now. The first half was pretty comfortable for us, we were aided by Man Utd not really turning up, but we turned the screw on them and our midfield ran the show I felt. Morgan was just sublime in the first half, overshadowed their midfield on his own, the boy is a classy classy player. I was amazed by how much time they gave us and space to turn, Lallana would have had fun today and it's a bloody shame we couldn't see him out there. The second half we tired, as I felt we would, as they upped their game. They were always going to have a ''moment'' in the game but it's just a shame that their winner came through a mistake from us, but it's pointless dwelling on that. It was a good advertisement for us as a club, I thought we produced some lovely football at times and we matched them with their passing in the first half, even bettered at times. Best outcome really. No injuries, no suspensions, not thrashed and no replay - so a very good day all in all and a nice boost for everyone connected to the club. Let's hope this is the start of putting Southampton back on the footballing map.
  23. You may be right on that one Benji, according to one of my sources he has been spotted at St Mary's this afternoon. I am ITK.
  24. tbf he's a bit of a walking PR disaster!
  25. Spoilt, ungrateful and greedy spring to mind.
