Pointless thread.

Guly is a good lad, but looked totally out of his depth today against a very weakened Sunderland team. He's not going to be worth anything to us in the run in. Not that we're ''running in'' to anything particular.
-
The club made him look a bit foolish based on that interview.
-
Already happened. Saw a tweet suggesting MP is still working to NC's instructions issued at the start of the season, league priority over everything else.
-
Fully agreed.
-
No, he didn't decline. It's just par the course - Jesus does all press for cup games, all set in stone already. So he didn't 'refuse', the arrangement was already set. Which kind of shows the importance the club puts on it.
-
Decent squad player, but as part of a triangle with Jos and Davis he's never going to look much cop.
-
And allowed us to make more Lambert-style opportunities throughout the match, rather than the last 10 mins.
-
Because it's important that we finish 8th, not 9th.

Mate, all you've done today is post stuff attacking posters with an opinion that isn't positive, yet you don't ever seen to post anything relevant yourself. It's been a poor day, one of the worst in a fair few years and people are understandably irate about what's happened. It's not all fluffy and sparkly out there.

A complete and utter mess. I've never felt like saying this about my side over the last 4 years, as we've been brilliant, but this is the first time I've questioned their commitment as it was as bad as we have played since the Wotte days. I don't get it. The selection set the tone. The club don't care about the cups, it's been clear. Jesus as the press-guy, young players start and on the bench. It's been the pattern from the league cups and the FA Cup. We have a terrific first 11, which can go toe to toe with the best teams in this league. This was our best opportunity to get to a final and have a chance to win it - first time for over a decade. We've blown it, TWICE. against the same utter dross. It's not like we've been knocked out against Chelsea or Man City, it's Sunderland. They're so bad. We may never have such a talented squad at our disposal again, who knows what the summer will hold.

The frustrating thing for me is that this has been a game played between 2 awful sides today. Sunderland have been very bad as well, yet once again we have given this awful football team a free ticket to the next round. We did the same in the League Cup. It's performances like this which can filter back down into the league, so not playing our first team to protect them for the league could well come back and haunt us anyway.

Shaw has had a mare.
-
TBF he's had a difficult few weeks.
-
Adam has done nothing today, he's been so bad. We couldn't do much worse, put it that way.
-
Lambert has had an absolute nightmare today, in every aspect of his game.
-
Ok, Lambert misses a sitter. We've lost.
-
See, it's been a poor match and a poor selection, but it's posts like this which make people attack you. Well OTT.
-
Blimey, that was a chance.
-
Agreed, everyone of our players have been horrendous in this 2nd half. The thing which gets me more than anything is the body language, it's all so slow and half-arsed.
-
Someone did suggest it couldn't get any worse in the 2nd half, well I'm afraid it has. This is as bad as I've seen us play for a long time.
-
Jesus christ, just kill this game now.
-
He's tedious and frustrating, but you're being just as bad today. I've not yet seen your opinion on anything.
-
This is a complete and utter mess.
-
Nice first touch for Jay.
