  1. Couldn't give a ****. Lost my balanced head, nothing about this is balanced.
  2. This is just mental. I could have kind of understood back in November, but now? On a 6 match unbeaten run? Just as we're getting to grips with it all? This new bloke doesn't even speak a word of English, I've never heard of him and he's unlikely to inspire the players. They're probably as ****ed off as the rest of us. This will derail our season.
  3. Did he really? He was shipped out of there pretty sharpish.
  4. It's right to get a bit excited abotu this result. We've just come back from 2-0 down against the European champions, in their own back yard. I'd say that's enough to get carried away with.
  5. He did have a touch, but I'm not too sure if it was an intentional flick, or a mis-control in the box that flicked into the pass of Puncheon. If it was an intentional flick, then take a bow son.
  6. That was proven to be absolute tosh, about....4 years ago.
  7. He then also said... ''Ask the people who'd know''
  8. ''Is this deal close?'' Adkins ''No idea''
  9. He hasn't got a scooby, he must love embarrassing himself.
  10. He made a similar run in the Villa game as well. Very powerful and has more acceleration than I thought he did. Glides along the floor just like Bale used to. Immense talent.
  11. Also, if bloody Jay Boothroyd can get an international cap - then Christ on a bike, Lambert can.
  12. Oh shut the **** up.
  13. In terms of goal ratio, is what I was trying to get at - just poorly worded. Still, such a huge signing.
  14. Don't ignore Cork either, I think he's class. He keeps getting better too, won't be too far away from the national side IMO.
  15. The best investment this club has made in it's recent history, certainly our most influential signing in my lifetime. He's singe handily taken us up 2 leagues, let's be honest.
  16. There's nothing wrong with tonight. Stop trying your hardest to find a flaming negative. Enjoy it, we've just got a stunning result because of stunning management.
  17. Exactly this, there was actually little wrong with us in the first half. We played alright for most of this game, but we held some cards on the bench - which we dealt and it came through for us. Clever tactics, no mistakes.
  18. A lot of praise for NA too, he's been hugely criticized for his subs against City and Utd etc - but he got it spot on today, at the right times. A really good tactical effort.
  19. He was unbelievable tonight. Some of his touches to take it away from 2 or 3 Chelsea players was amazing. A real, top, top class player. Although we always knew he was PL class, even in L1. He's grown with us, and he's going to be one of the most sought after midfielders in Europe before long.
  20. As much as people were going OTT at HT, I don't think we played badly in that half. I generally thought it was a really disciplined performance, good retention of the ball - albeit a little lacking in the final third thrust. The way we played it in the 2nd half was perfect though. Chelsea were naive and they thought it was won, but we played a little higher up with a bit more purpose - our full backs pushed on to great effect, and we got our rewards. It's a truly amazing result, in amazing circumstances. At HT this should be over, we've got a point, we're now 3 clear + GD from the bottom 3. What a wonderful position to be in. I will continue to stand by my opinion that the 2nd half of this season will be a lot of fun. We're a very accomplished premier league team now.
  21. That is a simply stunning result, completely out of the blue and totally unexpected. This will send the shivers up most teams down the bottom.
  22. everyone calm....
  23. rubbish ball by chaplow
  24. Fantastic bit of play by Gaston.
  25. Gaston wasn't sure what to do with that.
