In attack, and possession we're pretty good. That's not really in argument. But defensively, there isn't a team worse. We're just not at the races in that sense, that's what will kill us.

Well, we don't really have one. That's a stupid decision as well. As is the decision to totally change our system, the players clearly don't quite get it as much as they did last season. I think we've tried to change too much, and tried to be too clever behind the scenes. Success comes from carrying on what you've done well int he past.

Last season was accelerated due to our start, and our momentum. It's easier to carry momentum in the championship and there are lots of horrific teams in the championship. I don't think players like Guly, Fox, Jos, Richardson etc were ever top 2 players. The issue has come that we've put a little too much reliance on them this year, when they're just not good enough. Probably should have replaced more than we did in the summer.

What's frustrating is that in the first half we defended well. We were aggressive, and did all the right things. West Ham upped the game in the 2nd half, and in 2 mins it's 2-0. A decent team will never, ever, ever let that happen. I'm a massive positive thinker, but at this level we are absolutely crap and it's horrible to watch after the last few years. We're here too soon.

We're like Blackpool, but with a worst defense.
